PokerGO Brings Back High Stakes Duel with Antonius vs. Bleznick

This premier heads-up poker series pits two titans of the game against one another in an escalating battle of skill and nerve. Premiering on PokerGO on Tuesday,  12 November, at 8 PM ET (5 PM PT), High Stakes Duel 5 features poker heavyweights Patrik Antonius and Jared Bleznick in a thrilling showdown that promises to deliver high drama and heart-stopping moments for poker fans around the world.

High Stakes Duel returns with its popular heads-up format. Both players start with a $50,000 buy-in round. The stakes will double each round, and the duel will continue until one player throws in the towel. New rounds will be broadcast each week as long as Antonius and Bleznick continue to play each other. There are no limits to how high the stakes can rise. Once a player quits, the other will be crowned the High Stakes Duel 5 winner.

For High Stakes Duel 5, Antonius and Bleznick will play half No-Limit Hold’em and half Pot-Limit Omaha, with the game switching every 10 hands. Bleznick, winner of the first-ever Super High Roller Bowl PLO, is known as one of the most talented poker players in the world, especially in pot-limit Omaha, and also for his colourful personality. Antonius is a Poker Hall of Famer renowned for his fearlessness and icy demeanour. High Stakes Duel 5 will be a battle that is as psychological as it is tactical, and poker fans are in for a masterclass in heads-up poker strategy.
