PokerBaazi announces dates for 2CR GTD Game Changer

Just recently, the well-known Indian online poker platform PokerBaazi announced their INR 2 Crores GTD tournament, The Game Changer. The tournament, touted to be India’s biggest online poker tournament ever to be hosted, has just seen a schedule release.

Navkiran Singh, CEO of PokerBaazi, had commented on the big announcement saying, “We have added another gear to our drive of metamorphizing Indian Poker. This is yet another milestone, and for sure, a game changer!” The announcement sent big shockwaves in the industry and instantly became the major talk of the town in the poker world.

The Game Changer will be a 5-day high-stakes tournament running between Feb 20-24, 2019 with three starting flights hosted on the first three days of the tournament. It will have a buy-in of INR 11,000 and promises a bold guarantee of INR 50 Lakhs to the title winner. This will be a milestone moment in India’s poker history as no one has ever earned INR 50 Lakhs as 1^st place cash prize online.

There will only be five re-entries for all starting flights and Day 1A will run on the first day, 20^th Feb, and will begin on 8 pm with a starting stack of 15,000. The blind levels will increase every 10 minutes and the day will end after level 27.

Day 1B and Day 1C will run on the following two days at 8 pm with same starting stacks and blind levels as in Day 1A. After all the starting flights conclude, there will be a rest day on 23^rd Feb. The final day (Day 2) of the tournament will be hosted on 24^th Feb at 6 pm. The online poker industry in India has been growing rapidly these past couple of years with watershed events like these lining up for the pleasure of the poker fan base of this country. 2019 will prove be a historic year and will in turn see a major increase in the revenues flowing from the industry too.
