Hello poker lovers, here’s our story about female poker players and their fashion choices. We got in touch with poker player Simran Malhotra to know what her take on fashion is. Simran Malhotra is one of the players from Poker Sports League Season 3 Virtual team, Gujarat Falcons. She is one of the newest players in the industry and surely is someone to look out for. Malhotra is a makeup artist based in Mumbai and happened to get into poker just a few months ago.
Here’s what Simran Malhotra has to say about fashion, style and more:
What does fashion mean to you and what is your go-to outfit?
According to me, comfort and expression of my personality is fashion me. Nothing can go wrong with comfortable jeans and a jacket or at least that’s how I look at it.
Are women allowed to wear any outfit that they like in a casino or are there any rules that make it difficult for players to choose outfits? Do casino rules sometimes hinder comfort?
The beauty of being a lady is that your choices are not restricted like for men. So, it’s not difficult at all for me to choose. There has to be structure to an event or game, and they have to adhere to. I did not come across a situation where I felt uncomfortable. Personally, I am very fond of hoodies and they are a must for me to add to my poker wardrobe. Hoodies prove to be very helpful in disguising one’s body language & demeanour on the felts.
Are there any accessories you cannot do without while you are in a game? If yes, mention what accessories and why do you always have them?
I am not superstitious; I cannot think of any accessory as such. I concentrate on the game and take it one game at a time.
Do you have specific outfits mainly for Main Events and special game? Do you have any attachment, that if you wear a certain outfit you would perform well?
To be honest, I have not thought about any outfit as such, but I would like to have a jacket handy. It gets super cold at night, so a jacket goes a long way and helps in keeping me warm.
Do you admire any particular fashion brands?
The one brand I really admire would be Zara, because of the quality of the product and the plethora of options available for both men and women.
In the Indian poker industry, which male or female do you think always qualifies as a stunner?
According to me, Nikita Luther is a stunner and I always find her to be beautiful. She is always well dressed and looks so comfortable and graceful in whatever she does and hence I really admire her. When it comes to men, my all-time personal favourite is Amar Katharani. He is a good person with an amazing sense of style.
Simran Malhotra’s strategy and poker knowledge are surely going to help her shine on the digital felts. We hope to see her become a shining star in the poker circuit. Keep reading Gutshotmagazine.com for more such articles. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Telegram.
