The poker players of the country always look forward to playing the Sunday majors because of the huge guarantees and incredible prize money! And so was the scenario yesterday, the 10-day long May edition’s Spartan Super Series (SSS) concluded yesterday crowning the ultimate SSS Millionaire. Adda52 also hosted multi-flight Full House INR 1Cr GTD for a buy-in of INR 5,500 and lastly, PokerStars’ INSCOOP edition is also underway. SSS #68 The Millionaire

Spartan Poker’s start attraction of Spartan Super Series (SSS) was SSS #68 The Millionaire INR 1 Crore GTD which commenced at 6 pm yesterday. The tournament garnered a field of 1,076 entries for a buy-in of INR 11,000 which smashed the guarantee to create a prize pool of INR 1.07 Crore. After a long intense battle for 9+ hours it was the WSOP bracelet winner Aditya Sushant aka ‘SuperuSer’ who added another valuable title to his already illustrious poker CV. Sushant outlasted Sathish Ananth aka ‘Jaqkten’ in heads-up to bank a hefty prize money!

SSS #69 Sunday SuperStack

The flagship tourney Sunday SuperStack INR 50L GTD on Spartan Poker registered a total of 989 runners for a buy-in of INR 5,500. The final prize pool was eventually shared among the top 103 finishers but the one to take home the largest chunk was Madhav Gupta aka ‘Madzoopa’. The circuit popular, Gupta emerged as the champion after eliminating ‘thejoker’ in heads-up at 6:14 am and bagged the winner’s title.

AT 9:30 pm, Spartan Poker hosted SSS #70 Reloaded INR 5L GTD and a total of 436 hopefuls joined the event out of which only 39 finished in the money. Coming out on top was ‘ravinder9’ who captured the first-place prize money after knocking out Rajarshi Saha aka ‘rajsuk365’ in heads-up.

SSS #71 Big Daddy

The final event on SSS Day 10 was SSS #71 Big Daddy INR 10 Lakh GTD which ended successfully after drawing a prize pool of INR 10.26 Lakh. With a buy-in of 2,200, a total of 513 runners entered the field and 47 made into the money. Grabbing another SSS title was circuit grinder Neeraj Kumar aka ‘SelfClaimedPros’ who earned the winner’s title while his opponent ‘ranksster’ ended up in the second place.

BSS SuperStack

Sunday headlining tourney on PokerBaazi was BSS SuperStack INR 25 Lakh GTD which attracted a field of 550 entries generating a prize pool of INR 27.5 Lakh that was well-distributed among the top 63 players. After hours of battling, it was the runner-up of End Boss INR 5 Crore GTD, Neel Joshi aka ‘Worm33’ who seized the title along with INR 5.34 Lakh in prize money. Joshi railed out Siddhanth Kripalani aka ‘ender’ in heads-up who secured INR 3.75 Lakh.

The Monster

Yesterday at 5 pm, PokerBaazi also hosted The Monster INR 5 Lakh GTD which pulled out 253 entries for a buy-in of INR 2,750. Claiming the first-place cash prize was online reg Ankit Jajodia aka ‘akj290’ who defeated Faiz Alam aka ‘AilaGaya’ in heads-up for INR 1.49 Lakh while Alam earned INR 1.04 Lakh for settling in the runner-up position.

The last man standing at 3:09 am was ‘grovahova’ who boosted his bankroll by adding a whopping INR 20 Lakh in prize money after defeating Dhaval Mudgal aka ‘dirtyzoso’ in heads-up. Mudgal banked the second place payout of INR 11.79 Lakh.

AOPS Panjim

Varma railed out Ujjwal Narwal aka ‘fourteenk’ in heads-up who earned the runner-up paycheck of INR 5.30 Lakh.

Powering through the field after defeating ‘theoldestkid’ in heads-up was Sanish Chhabra aka ‘sneakysani’ who earned the INR 2.29 Lakh in cash prize while his opponent earned INR 1.66 Lakh.
