Harshdev Jhirmiria Ships Highroller

The ongoing DPT May 2024 crowned another winner in well-known poker player Harshdev Jhirmiria. The young player from Mumbai nailed his first-ever DPT title at the highly anticipated live series for a sum of ₹34,30,180. Jhirmiria had recently won his maiden live poker trophy at Poker Dream 9 Malaysia. He shipped the Mystery Bounty tournament for over ₹33 Lakh. The DPT May 2024 Highroller title is Jhirmiria’s first live victory on home ground. 

DPT May 2024 HR Registers 157 Total Entries

The coveted Highroller tournament of the DPT May 2024 series closed its late registrations with 157 total entries. The event now has 70 players in contention for the top title and prestigious trophy. Will a recreational player nail the Highroller title or will a seasoned pro ship it? Stay tuned.

Faiz Alam Leads Day 1 HR Survivors

Leading the pack of survivors into Day 2 of the Highroller event is poker veteran Faiz Alam. This DPT October 2023 Mini Main Event champion has a stack of 532K chips. He  is closely followed by Tarun Goyal (531.5K chips).

Other notable players who made Day 2 in the Highroller tournament include names like Siddharth Jolly (379K chips), WSOP bracelet holder Nikita Luther (353K chips), and Harshdev Jhirmiria (357.5K chips). All these surviving players along with other remaining contenders will return for Day 2 to fight for the numero uno spot.

DPT May 2024 HR: 62 Survivors Make Day 2

After 11 high-octane 40-minute levels, Day 1 of the ₹1.1 Lakh Highroller event came to an end. From a total 116 entries, only 62 survivors made Day 2. The late registration for the Highroller event will remain open until the start of Level 14 on Day 2.

PSL Co-founder Pranav Bagai, former DPT August 2019 Main Event winner Rishabh Vekaria, former Adda52 Pro Tarun Goyal, Kanchan Sharma and Natural8 India‘s Director, Kunal Patni and brand ambassador Nikita Luther have arrived for the Highroller tournament.

Welcome To The DPT May 2024 Highroller 

The highly anticipated ₹1.10 Lakh Highroller event kick-started at 5 PM amid high energy. Players participating in this event can expect an intense grind ahead. Day 2 of this mega buy-in event will take place at 1 PM on 23rd May and will see survivors from Day 1 battling it out for the top spot.

The Highroller tournament offers a starting stack of 100K with 40-minute levels. Late registration will close at the start of Level 14.

In DPT October 2023 edition, Raghav Bansal shipped the Highroller for a sum of ₹16,86125. This former DPT Main Event winner emerged victorious from a player pool of 47 contenders. Will Bansal come back to defend his Highroller title? Only time will tell.
