India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) Day 3 was a major hit. The weekend was done right as several prize pools were crushed, many newbies bagged the top spot. In today’s round-up, we get you the main attractions of the action-packed Saturday of IOPC January 2021 tournament series which can be played on Spartan Poker, BLITZPOKER, and PokerHigh.
The first tournament on Saturday kick-started with a bang and Prafull Hasbe aka ‘2Lucifer2’ took home a whopping INR 79,699. The initial prize pool of INR 3.50 Lakhs was crushed and went all the way up to INR 4,20,800. The top 103 places were paid out and the min-cash was INR 1,136.
Next up, we have the IOPC #15 INR 6.50 Lakhs GTD. The tournament saw a total of 690 entries and several poker players contending for the winner’s position. The top 55 players were paid and the min-cash was INR 3,381. The tournament ran for almost six hours and crushed the advertised prize pool which ultimately reached INR 6.90 Lakhs. The winner of this tournament was poker pro Kunal Patni aka ‘NutsTodayBluffTomo.’ Patni took home an impressive prize money of INR 1,00,397. The captain of team Deccan Aces from Poker Sports League Season 3 Virtual said, “Felt good to ship the first one. More to come.”
This was one of the much-awaited tournaments from Day 3. The winner of DEEPSTACK 6 Lakhs GTD was Sanket Arora aka ‘BANK$KY’ who took home INR 1,15,888 in prize money. The tournament’s promised prize pool was crushed as expected which scaled all the way up to INR 7.32 Lakhs. Top 79 players were paid and the min-cash was INR 2,488.
This one is among the bigger tournaments of IOPC Jan 2021 with a prize pool of INR 1.5 Crore. The second flight of ‘THE MILLIONAIRE UNITED’ witnessed a total of 408 entries. Karan Kapur aka ‘Junior-KK’ stood as the 1st chip leader with a finishing stack of 2,18,972 chips.
Next up, we have the IOPC #17 Titan Stack which had a total of 630 entries. A player nicknamed ‘Ullumanati’ won the tournament and took home a massive prize money of INR 4,87,620. The min-cash was INR 10,962 and the top 63 players were paid.
This tournament was indeed a house party as it witnessed a total of 742 entries. The initial prize pool was crushed and it scaled all the way up to INR 14.84 Lakhs. The min-cash was INR 6,455 and the top 63 places were paid. The winner of this tournament was ‘deranzzdd’ who took home a whopping INR 2,34,927 in prize money. This player previously won the IOPC #6 and claimed the top spot for INR 3,70,359.
The last tournament on Day 3 was a major hit. The initial prize pool was crushed and went all the way up to INR 9,67,500. This was an impressive turn of events for this tournament. The total entries stood at 645, top 55 places were paid and the min-cash was INR 4,750. This tournament saw its winner in Amit Sur aka ‘Immortal Killer’ who shipped a massive INR 1,64,101 in prize money.
