Dafabet joins APT Vietnam Kick Off; Sponsors an event

Recently. Philippines-based online gambling company Dafabet signed a deal with the Asian gaming giant Asian Poker Tour (APT) for the upcoming APT Vietnam Kick Off 2019 series. Dafabet is a multinational online gambling company that is privately owned by AsianBGE.

It is considered a top tier company operating in Asia and even has an Indian website. The company recently also signed a deal with Scout Gaming, a Sweden-based online fantasy sports company. Dafabet was founded back in 2004 and operates out of Philippines, where they are licensed and regulated. It is quite a household name in the Asian region.

The company is all set to provide exciting promotions and rewards for players playing in the APT Vietnam Kick Off Main Event. They have already sponsored an event in the series, called the ‘Dafabet Head Hunter’ with a buy-in of VND 2,000,000 (~INR 6,075) and the bounty buy-in is set at VND 8,800,000 (~INR 26,737). This event is scheduled to take place between 10-11 January.

Apart from sponsoring this event, Dafabet will also give away some Celtic Football Club jerseys. Top 3 winners in the Head Hunter event will get jerseys. The player with most bounties and the first player to win a bounty will both get a jersey each. Along with these, the first player to get eliminated, the bubble boy and the player to eliminate the bubble boy, all will get jerseys. The company will also send top three winners from this Main Event to play in the upcoming APT Tokyo Japan 2019 Main Event.

The APT Vietnam Kick Off begins today, i.e. 9^th January, and will be running till 20^th January 2019, and a handful of Indian pros have already confirmed their presence at the Pro Poker Club in Ho Chi Minh City. Abhinav Iyer, Kunal Patni, Madhav Gupta, Vinod Megalmani, Dhaval Mudgal, Sumit Sapra, Eka Vedantham, Aditya Sushant and Guneet Kwatra are among those.

The Main Event of the series will start on 10^th January and will have three starting flights. VND 8 billion (~INR 2.42 Crores) is guaranteed for the Main Event for a buy- in of VND 22 million (~INR 66,817).
