According to a report by Pokerfuse, the Senior Vice President of 888 Holdings and Head Of Country Yaniv Sherman told the media about the future plans for 888poker brands in the US. He also discussed the launch plans in West Virginia and preparations for Pennsylvania and Michigan. He also added a discussion about the Poker8 software platform.
According to a report by Pokerfuse, 888 has been focused on working with WSOP until now and its expansion into Michigan and Pennsylvania will be WSOP branded at first. Sherman stated that they were prioritizing WSOP and that with Caesars being a strategic partner and a market leader, they would want them to be able to capitalize on the opportunity of the expansion of 888poker.

Reports stated that 888 had signed a multi-year partnership with Caesars earlier in 2021 and claimed that their collaboration would last until 2026. However, Sherman was being optimistic about seeing many 888-branded poker rooms in US markets in 2021. He stated that if the expansion would not happen in 2021 then, 2022 would definitely see the doorway to additional poker brands in the marketplace.
According to further reports by Pokerfuse, Sherman stated that an All American Poker Network name was not going to be used anymore to describe its cross-state network. He also said that when 888 was first launched in New Jersey and Nevada, it made use of the AAPN (All American Poker Network) name to describe its online poker network. The network housed 888, WSOP and Delaware skins.
Further, Sherman reportedly stated that it was either 888 poker or a US-facing brand, but it was not going to be the All-American Poker Network. He also added that if they were to leverage, it would be in partnership with a recognized US brand. Sherman stated that they were in active discussions with potential brand owners in the US and that it was an obvious fact that 888 was a strong global brand.
Reports also stated that by the end of 2021, the poker market in the US would look completely different as 888poker will expand its network as well as its brand. Both brand and network will have new states and new skins; also with a unified player pool, 888 is going to create a big impact in 2021 with its plans in place to set up new poker rooms and new software.
