Poker Sports League S6 Auction: Ritwik Khanna Emerges As Most Valuable Player
Ritwik Khanna has emerged as the most valuable player at the auction of Poker Sports League, Season 6. PSL 6 is gearing up for an exciting poker event that’s bound to interest poker enthusiasts all over the world. The league sees some of the most prominent poker players divided into six teams, and they will vie for a prize pool of ₹2 Crore. While the qualifiers for the League matches took place from 16th June to 4th August on Pocket52, the Auction was streamed by JioCinema earlier this month. The PSL will see virtual matches on Jio Cinema, and the live matches will be held in Goa.
The PSL is a unique poker tournament series that is free for all, and while the qualifiers are played online, the actual tournament will be held in Goa, and those qualified get free air tickets to the venue,
Ritwik Khanna trounces PSL Season 6 Auction
The Live Auction for Season 6 was held on 13th August 2024 at Novotel Goa Resort and Spa, and seven teams had almost ₹2 Crore in their kitty to get the players that they wanted. The seven teams in the fray were:

The auction was divided into two segments, with the established lot in the pro sector and the up-and-coming talent in the qualifier lot. While the pro lot commanded a base price of ₹2 Lakh, the qualifiers began with ₹50,000. Ritwik Khanna was the season’s most expensive acquisition, pegged at ₹5.80 Lakh. Three other players were brought in for more than ₹5 Lakh. Nishant Sharma joined Bengaluru All Stars for ₹5.60, while Lucknow Kings snapped up Ankit Wadhawan for ₹5.20 Lakh. Gujarat Falcons walked away with Arsh Grover for ₹5 Lakh.
