After 20 levels of play yesterday at the $25k High Roller event in the prestigious PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA), the final 12 have emerged at the Atlantis Resort and Casino situated on Paradise Island, Bahamas.

Leading the pack of 12 are two Austrians sitting with nearly the same stack. Thomas Muehloecker is the chip leader with 1,520,000 chips. Trailing just behind him is Markus Durnegger with 1,385,000. Sam Greenwood, one of the three Greenwood brothers in the PCA and the winner of PCA $100k Super High Roller rounds up top 3 with a stack of 880,000. Greenwood even cashed in PSPC and the Main Event. Only top 23 places will be paid in the event.

The 12 players to play Day 2 of the $25k HR have all locked at least $75,080 as their earnings in the event as 12th place cash prize, but all will be eyeing for the 1st place cash prize of $895,110 (~INR 7.01 Crores).

Coming back to the chip leader, Muehloecker is quite a popular player in the circuit. Muehloecker has earned upwards of $6.7 million and ranks 1st in Austria’s All Time Money List. One of his recent victories was when he shipped the Bellagio Cup XIV $10,400 NLHE event for $345,790 in July last year. Other notables to make it to Final 12 include Nick Petrangelo2017 WSOPE €10k HR winner Dominik Nitsche and Sean Winter. England’s Lucas Reeves was the leader after Day 1 of the $25k HR, but unfortunately got busted at 22nd place, just making the money  for $44,660. Spain’s Jesus Cortes got busted at 15th for $59,680.
