Patrik Antonius has created history, winning a whopping $5.1 Million at the $200K Triton Invitational at the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Monte Carlo. Antonius beat 101 other entries in what was the biggest buy-in event of the series, taking the lion’s share of the $20.4 Million prize pool. This was also the highest payout in the Triton Poker SHRS Monte-Carlo 2024 so far.

Antonius has had a great 2024 until now. In April 2024, he shipped the $100K Super High Roller at EPT Monte Carlo, taking home €1,967,440 and his second major EPT title. Also, he was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2024, adding his name to the prestigious list.
Antonius has slowly and steadily climbed up the All Time Money List as well, standing 28th on the prestigious one. His best live cash at the time of writing his article is now his take at the Triton Invitational. He has definitely come a long way from his first cash, in 2003, when he stood 4th at the $200+20 Pot Limit Omaha at the St Maarten Open, to take $3480.

During his career, he played in almost all the major poker series, including PokerStars Caribbean Adventure and the World Poker Tour in 2005. He also played at the 36th World Series of Poker, WSOP 2005, in Las Vegas. With so many achievements under his belt, the two that remain elusive to him are a WSOP bracelet and a ring. Given the resilience and grit that Antonius has shown at the felts for decades, it seems to be only a matter of time before he gets those.
