Friday night was stupendous for Indian poker players, with some of the biggest GTDs out there. Several poker regs took down some of the most incredible events on the night, with some of them even ranking on multiple ITM lists. One of the most successful names that pops up immediately is Mohsin ‘gongo’ Shaikh, a poker reg who’s been playing consistently all through the week, and hit a big pay day just as the weekend approached.

Read on to know how much he took home and at which tournament. And just above him on the leaderboards is Ankit Omprakash Bajaj, another poker reg who has consistently been on the ITM lists and took another massive ship yesterday. 

Junglee Poker

SS Daily Finale

In yet another action-packed night on the virtual felts, the SS Daily Finale lit up Junglee Poker with intense showdowns and power-packed performances, as players battled for a share of the impressive ₹7.5 Lakh guaranteed prize pool. Rising to the top of the 202-entry field was ‘ritz1991’, who played a composed and clinical game to clinch the title and take home a handsome payday of ₹1,44,300. Hot on their heels was ‘willwall’, whose resilient run earned them the runner-up payout of ₹1,08,825. Finishing third was ‘cuesort28111867’, who pocketed ₹80,325 for a strong deep run in the tournament. Friday night on Natural8 India saw a thrilling mix of high-stakes showdowns and massive fields, with some familiar names rising to the occasion. Here’s how the action unfolded:

Anant ‘EasyShips’ Purohit came agonisingly close to victory in the Bounty Hunters HR 525, finishing 2nd out of 356 entries. His deep run, boosted by a substantial bounty haul, earned him a hefty ₹21,92,867, including ₹9,41,406 in bounties. A hallmark performance from one of the circuit’s most consistent crushers.

Armaan ‘Brahmajnana’ Kochhar enjoyed a busy and profitable evening. He shipped the High Rollers PLO-NL 525, outlasting a field of 22 to bank ₹6,49,519. He also posted a runner-up finish in the Speed Racer Bounty 54, adding another ₹1,32,044 to his tally for the night.

Anurag ‘FreeDebtm’ Rawat raced to the top in the Speed Racer Bounty 54, clinching the title in a 174-player field. His bounty-rich win brought him ₹2,34,910 in total.

The Daily Bounty Hunters Main Event 5.50 saw mystery player ‘damnitPhil’ emerging 4th, who turned the micro buy-in into an impressive ₹1,95,064 payday.

Natural8 India’s Friday night action once again proved that whether it’s high-roller PLO battles or low-stakes bounty grinders, there’s always glory up for grabs. 

A23 Poker

The Ballers

Friday night saw fireworks on A23 Poker as the high-stakes showdown, The Ballers, returned with a bang. It boasted a massive ₹20 Lakh GTD and drew a power-packed field with 209 total entries (124 unique, 73 re-entries, 12 late regs).

It was Mohsin ‘gongo’ Shaikh who ruled the night, navigating through the fierce competition to clinch the title and a top prize of ₹3,97,572. Shaikh’s aggressive-yet-controlled performance proved too strong for the rest of the field, reaffirming his reputation as one of the circuit’s sharpest sharks.

Close behind was Ankit ‘imluckbox’ Omprakash Bajaj, whose consistent deep run earned them ₹2,94,468, while Siddarth ‘badtameez_donk’ Singhvi claimed third and banked ₹2,18,106. The final table was stacked with seasoned grinders, including Dinesh ‘dinzy009’ Kumar  (₹1,61,547) and Rahul ‘Poker_king52’ Purohit (₹1,19,654), all bringing their A-game in a fierce battle for supremacy.

Notable finishes were also earned by Siddhant ‘AajNahiAana’ Singh (10th for ₹31,747), Anurag ‘NormanBates’ Srivastava (22nd for ₹24,673), and Arjanveer ‘Arjan30’ Singh Chadha (25th for ₹24,673), which shows the incredible depth of talent in the field. With huge prizes, thrilling plays, and a stacked roster of contenders, The Ballers once again lived up to its name, delivering drama, dominance, and dreams fulfilled on the virtual felt.

PokerBaazi

The Quest

It was a blockbuster Friday night on PokerBaazi, as The Quest shattered expectations and delivered pure poker drama. With a mammoth ₹30 Lakh GTD and a thunderous field of 764 entries (362 unique + 402 re-entries), the Quest shattered expectations and delivered pure poker drama.

Blazing through the competition and emerging as the undisputed champion was Ankit ‘Psycorp’ Omprakash Bajaj, whose relentless run saw them capture the title and a whopping ₹5.73 Lakh in prize money. Hot on their heels was ‘Pluto’, who navigated the tough final table with finesse and banked a stellar ₹4.64 Lakh for their runner-up finish.

Rounding out the top five were Rahul ‘created’ Kumar Jain (₹2.87 Lakh), Nikita ‘highpriestess’ Fernandes (₹2.2 Lakh), and Gopal ‘AiDarwin’ Bajaj (₹1.79 Lakh), each putting up gritty performances in one of the most brutal showdowns of the night. Karan ‘collingwood’ Sitlani (₹1.46 Lakh) and Rajneesh ‘msdhoni’ Thakur (₹1.15 Lakh) also made it deep, showcasing precision and poise under pressure.

Further down the list, regulars like Goonjan ‘gmtesting’ Mall (₹38,200), Md ‘007Bahubali’ Zeeshan (₹17,190), Aditya ‘konstantin’ Singh (₹17,190), and Pranav ‘MeenakshiSundareshwar’ Khandalkar  (₹14,130) grabbed their share of the pie with commendable runs in a fiercely competitive field.

The Quest proved yet again why it’s a marquee attraction—big names, big money, and even bigger moments. With adrenaline running high and the stakes even higher, it was a night to remember for India’s poker faithful.

Daily Last Chance

Friday night wrapped up with a bang as the Daily Last Chance on PokerBaazi delivered thrilling poker action and a chunky ₹14.46 Lakh prize pool, thanks to a massive 665-entry field (356 unique + 309 re-entries). Blazing past the competition was Vaibhav ‘vaibhi18’ Arora, who clinched the top spot and pocketed a well-earned ₹2.2 Lakh after an intense grind. Close behind was Janish ‘ProteaFire’ Jain, who scorched the virtual felt and walked away with ₹1.45 Lakh for a strong runner-up finish.

Satyam ‘AnakinSkywa1keR’ Verma brought the Force to the table, bagging ₹1.07 Lakh in third place, while Usha ‘usa01’ Idnani (₹82,980) and ‘Shark85’ (₹68,600) rounded off the top five with strong performances. Also making deep finishes were Faiz ‘AilaGaya’ Alam (48th for ₹7,080) and Sam ‘thereallokimon’ Anand (75th for ₹5,780), proving once again that the Daily Last Chance is where the action doesn’t slow down until the final hand is dealt.

With a modest ₹2,500 buy-in and a field full of firepower, this event gave players one last shot at glory, and the night’s winners made it count in style!
