OneVerse Gaming Seals Game-Changing Partnership with PokerDangal
Metaverse and gaming tech company OneVerse announced the expansion of its real-money gaming (RMG) portfolio through a strategic partnership with PokerDangal, an online poker platform founded in 2017 by Karan Gandhi, Varun Mahna, Varun Puri, Shashwat Jain, and Manan Sobti. With this tie-up, OneVerse Gaming expands its portfolio by integrating with PokerDangal, a platform with over 2 million users that offers free and paid online poker tournaments and cash games.

Speaking about the integration, Karan Gandhi said, “This integration accelerates our vision, allowing us to reach a broader audience and enhance our gaming ecosystem. Partnering with OneVerse enables us to scale faster and unlock new opportunities.”

OneVerse Gaming was founded by Prashanth Joshua and has already integrated with top Indian gaming sites, including Spartan Poker, Calling Station, and PokerSaint. The company is scouting for further acquisitions and has earmarked ₹250 Crore in growth capital across its portfolio of RMG platforms.

The poker and real-money gaming industry in India has recently seen a surge in takeovers and mergers, with some of the biggest names investing. Nazara Technologies, for example, has been on a spending spree, including increasing its stake in Absolute Sports and PokerBaazi. Last week, Head Digital Works completed the purchase of Adda52 from its parent company, Delta Corp, for an estimated ₹491 Crore.
This is due to the predicted favourable conditions for the real-money gaming industry in India, with some state governments stating that gaming in India could be the next big market.
