Nishant Sharma Ships Poker Dream 13 Main Event

Nishant Sharma is on a roll – and he’s carved a name for himself in the poker world and made every Indian poker proud with this achievement. The elite poker player has shipped the Main Event of Poker Dream 13. He shipped the Poker Dream series for the third time, making him one of the rarest poker players in the world currently. Sharma was at the event’s final table with eight other contestants, among the top names in the poker world. The prize pool for the main event was RM 6,048,144 and Sharma won the top prize of RM 930,800. He was followed by Chun Keat Liu, who took home RM 538,328 for his skills and grit. Interestingly, another Indian poker player was in the money at the Main Event, Gagandeep Malik, who took home RM 35,700. 

Nishant Sharma is a force to reckon with, being someone who has shipped the main event of a series not twice but thrice. He earlier shipped Poker Dream 10 and 11, in Vietnam and Malaysia. It could have been a hat-trick, but we are sure Sharma is pretty content with his achievement. He conquered Malaysia in August and Vietnam in May,  and all of this in just one year. With Sharma going gung-ho, he has more achievements to put in his kitty, and Gutshot Magazine congratulates him on his victory. Sharma has been showing his skills on the poker table for a while now.  His first cash was at the Deltin Poker Tournament in Goa when he took home ₹63,000 at the Main Event. His best live cash until now has been at WSOP, Event #65, when he ranked 34th and took home $2,30,475.
