Nikhil Kedia Stands 4th At High Roller Event of Poker Dream 13

Poker Dream 13 is ongoing and is springing up a list of Indians who are either in the money or have shipped events. Indian poker player Nikhil Kedia has added himself to that list. He has stood fourth in the payout list of the High Roller Event at Poker Dream 13. Kedia ended up taking home MYR 141,000.

The winner was Shengnan Wang, who took home the lion’s share of the prize pool – MYR 387,000. A total of 17 people were in the money, with the least amount being taken by Kai Fai Wong at 17th place, MYR 24,000. The total prize pool for this event was  MYR 1,539,390. Poker Dream shared the official image of the winners on their social handle.

Nikhil Kedia has been playing poker for a while now, and according to Hendon Mob,  his first live cash was in 2019, when he stood 16th in the ITM list of WPT India High Roller event at World Poker Tour when he took home an amount of ₹232,990, which was also his best live cash until now.

Kedia’s player moves and confidence show that he is ready for the big leagues, and it is only a matter of time before he goes toe-to-toe with the biggest and the best on the felts. Such news only adds to the confidence levels and aspirations of younger poker players who are looking to gain a foothold in the world of poker.

Poker Dream 13 is happening from 15th to 24th  November 2024 at Resorts World Genting, Malaysia. It features a variety of high-stakes poker events, including the Main Event, which has a guaranteed prize pool of MYR 5,000,000. Other highlights include high roller tournaments, a Mystery Bounty High Roller, and a Ladies Event freeroll.

The scenic Genting Highlands provide a luxurious backdrop for this 10-day series, which is set to attract top players from across Asia and beyond, making it one of the most anticipated stops on the Poker Dream Tour. The 2024 itinerary of the tournament has just begun, and we are sure there will be several more Indian poker players who will crop up in the winners lists as the days progress.
