Monday Round-Up: Priyank Kothari And Sanjay Kumar Nail Top Titles


The virtual poker felts witnessed some power-packed action this Monday night. As top players battled it out for the top spots, some lesser-known, as well as mystery players, were seen lifting notable titles. Let’s have a look at the action of the night!

Iron Man – ₹8 Lakh GTD

Adda52’s staple Iron Man was as usual a buzzing affair. The tourney surpassed the initial guarantee to generate a final prize pool of ₹8,12,000. The top 43 places out of the 406 entries made in the money as the min-cash stood at ₹4,466.

Sanjay Kumar aka ‘Floppednuts’ shipped the tourney for ₹1,79,987, while mystery player ‘gladiator86’ finished second for ₹1,43,189.

Mohit Mehta (14th, ₹8,120), Harsh Dembla (20th, ₹6,902), Uttam Kumar Sinha (26th, ₹6,090), Aditya Kulkarni (28th, ₹5,278), Aman Parakh (29th, ₹5,278), Arjanveer Singh Chadha (35th, ₹4,466) and Myron Pereira (41st, ₹4,466) also made it in the money at this tourney.

The Big Show – ₹7.5 Lakh GTD

PokerBaazi’s The Big Show was a big hit. The 344 entries at this event were seen battling it out for the top spots. The advertised guarantee at this tourney was crushed as the final prize pool stood at ₹8,60,000. The top 45 places were paid and the min-cash stood at ₹4,816.

Mystery player ‘Badimachli’ topped the table and added ₹1,81,000 to his bankroll. At the runner-up spot, ‘asg9966’ took home ₹1,26,000 in prize money.

Players like Aman Parakh (4th, ₹60,200), Mohit Mehta (31st, ₹5,590), Siddhanth Kripalani (36th, ₹5,590) and Manish Lakhotia (41st, ₹4,816) also made in the top 45 paid places. Tanmay Benara (55th), Kritagya Sharma (57th) were some players who left this tourney empty-handed.

Spartan Poker’s Deepstack was an action-packed tourney. The tourney witnessed 461 entries who surpassed the initial guarantee to generate a final prize pool of ₹4,61,000. The top 47 places made in the money, while a min-cash of ₹2,627 was recorded.

Priyank Kothari aka ‘Satoshi_Nakamoto’ shipped the tourney and cashed ₹89,848. Yash Wadhawan aka ‘J. Cole’ finished second for ₹57,071.

Mystery player ‘sanapalbhar’ clinched the title and pocketed ₹1,63,608, while Mohit Mehta aka ‘thejoker’ took home a paycheque of ₹1,08,772 from his second-place finish.
