Microsoft To Make Xbox Games Available On Low-End PCs

Microsoft’s Xbox is one of the most popular gaming services across the world. The tech giant is always looking for ways to improve and expand it to reach out to a larger audience. One such step by Microsoft was the introduction of Xbox cloud gaming service.

In the most recent advancement, gamers can reportedly play Xbox cloud games on any type of PC, irrespective of its specifications and gaming compatibility with the help of cloud gaming. The players can simply connect a compatible controller to the PC through a Universal Serial Bus (USB) or Bluetooth, launch the Xbox app and select the ‘cloud games’ option. The app will display a selection of games, which the layers can choose from and start playing the game.

Recently, Microsoft announced a beta testing of the Xbox cloud gaming  service on the Xbox app for the Game Pass Ultimate members in 22 countries. The beta testing was made available only on Windows PCs via the Insider program. Currently, India isn’t a part of this Insider program, hence, it wasn’t a part of the 22 countries where beta testing was made  available. However, reports suggest that can change in the months to come. Cloud gaming will enable gamers to play console games from the Game Pass library via the app.

The availability of Xbox games on any type of PC is good news for the PC gamers. Players will be able to run and enjoy console-level games on their PCs with great ease. Gamers who are not a part of this Insider program can also play these games on their PC via web browsers, mobiles and tablets.

The company did not reveal any information so far as to when cloud gaming will be made available in India. But reports suggest it could be available after the beta testing phase is completed. The availability of Xbox games via the cloud on any Windows PCs, mobiles and tablets, makes the Xbox Game Pass all the more exciting and worth waiting for.
