‘Madmoney007’ Starts 2022 By Winning Gutshot’s Exclusive 22K Freeroll For 5,720

We, at Gutshot, started our New Year with a bang. We made sure our beloved Gutshot players also have a fantastic start to the New Year by hosting a Gutshot Exclusive 22K Freeroll on 2nd January 2022. 

As we stepped into the New Year, we wanted to make it special for our players. For the first time ever, Gutshot’s Exclusive 22K freeroll was held on three skins – Spartan Poker, PokerHigh, and BLITZPOKER at the same time. Gutshot players from all three platforms could participate in this freeroll. 

The freeroll tournament started at 7 PM on Sunday, 2nd January 2022. It received an overwhelming response from 169 entries, out of which the top 30 places took home a portion of the ₹22,000 prize pool. The tournament was shipped by mystery player ‘Madmoney007’ who bagged ₹5,720 in prize money for free. At the runner-up spot, Salil Wagle aka ‘salilashna1’ took home ₹3,520 in prize money.

In the final hand, Wagle held 5s and Qd, while ‘Madmoney007’ held 4c and 10c. Wagle called 3000 from the small blind position and ‘Madmoney007’ raised to 13,200. Wagle called the bet and the flop opened to Ks, 5d, and 10h. ‘Madmoney007’ bet 19,800 on the flop and Wagle raised all-in with 169,470. The turn and river opened to 4d and Kh respectively. ‘Madmoney007’ won the showdown with a higher two-pair hand. Talking about his victory, Wagle shares, “I regularly play Gutshot exclusive freerolls. It’s always fun to play freerolls hosted by Gutshot.”
