April is right bang in the middle of summer, and the heat is increasing for poker players all around the world and specifically in Asia, with some of the biggest poker tournament series lined up. Here’s a list of all the live poker in Asia, set up for the month of April. We have added the venues and other details wherever available.

Okada Manila Millions (4th – 13th April)

The 6th edition of the Okada Manila Million is set to take place from April 4 to 13, 2025, at the world-class Okada Manila, located in the heart of the Philippines’ Entertainment City. This popular low-stakes poker festival has established itself as a key fixture on the annual PokerStars LIVE schedule, drawing players from across the region.

Spanning ten days, the festival will feature 43 events with total guarantees surpassing PHP 12 million (~US$ 209,000). The Main Event boasts the largest prize pool of PHP 5 million (~US$ 87,300) with an accessible buy-in of just PHP 8,000 (~US$ 140). Players have seven flights to secure a spot in the ITM round. Last year’s edition attracted 1,491 entries, generating a prize pool of over PHP 9.5 million—nearly doubling the guarantee. Other key highlights include the Mystery Bounty and the Okada Micro.

Vietnam Poker Tournament Championship (5th to 13th April)

In April, VPT will host the inaugural VPT Championship—with anVND 35 billion (~US$ 1.4 million) in guarantees, marking the largest prize pool ever offered by a local brand in Vietnam.

Scheduled for April 5-13, 2025, at Corona Resort & Casino on the stunning island of Phu Quoc, the festival will feature 38 tournaments, headlined by the Main Event with a massive VND 15 billion (~US$ 600,000) guarantee. Following right after is the highly anticipated VPT Championship, while high rollers can expect non-stop action with premium events running daily.

Korean Poker Cup Series 2025 (7th to 13th April)

The Korea Poker Cup is set to host its first-ever standalone festival in Jeju, South Korea, promising an exciting week of poker action. With a guaranteed prize pool of KR₩ 1.35 billion (~US$ 930,000), the event will run from April 6 to 13, 2025, at the prestigious Landing Casino within Jeju Shinhwa World.

The festival features buy-ins ranging from KR₩ 300,000 (~US$ 200) to KR₩ 6,000,000 (~US$ 4,130). High-stakes players can look forward to thrilling Super High Roller events, including the SHR Single Day with a US$ 25,000 buy-in and the SHR Short Deck – Ante Only, the highest entry event at US$ 50,000.

The action kicks off with the Jeju Open Mystery Bounty, boasting a KR₩ 150 million (~US$ 103,000) guarantee. The highlight of the series is the Main Event, which features a massive KR₩ 800 million (~US$ 550,000) guarantee. Players can enter for a buy-in of KR₩ 1,240,000 (~US$ 850) and have five starting flights to chase the prize.

Poker Dream 17 Malaysia (1oth to 21st April)

Poker Dream, one of Asia’s premier poker brands, is set to host its 17th edition in Malaysia. Marking its ninth visit to the country, this stop remains the brand’s most popular in Southeast Asia. The highly anticipated festival will take place from April 10-21, 2025, at the iconic Genting Highlands.

Spanning 12 action-packed days, the series will feature a diverse lineup of tournaments catering to players of all bankrolls. In April 2024, the Main Event made history, surpassing US$ 2 million in prize money and drawing over 2,000 entries.

With Poker Dream’s reputation for attracting massive fields and generating impressive prize pools, expectations are high for yet another record-breaking event. High rollers will also have plenty to look forward to, as the brand’s elite tournaments continue to be among the most sought-after in the region.
