Spartan Poker’s Little Big Series Day 1 Gets Off To A Flyer

The Spartan Poker is known for it many tournament offerings be it their signature tournaments like the Millionaire or the Two of a Kind (2.o.K) or big tickets series like the India Online Poker Championship or the Spartan Super Series. The very first day of the LBS took off yesterday at The Spartan Poker and saw a huge number of entries which crushed guarantees across all tournaments of Day 1. The four-day series features 18 tournaments with an overall guarantee of more than INR 26 Lakhs which also includes a leaderboard INR 1 Lakh in cash prize PLUS tickets into the afore-mentioned marquee tournaments for the top 5 finishers on the leaderboard. The winner of the leaderboard gets INR 50,000 in cash as well a ticket into the next Millionaire and 2.o.K each. The remaining four finishers get cash prizes and a ticket into the Millionaire. LBS #1 INR 110 (50K GTD) (RE)

 

The series opener kicked off with 705 participants in total which made a prizepool of INR 70,500. The prizepool was distributed to top 47 places with a min-cash of INR 402. The event saw ‘neeru786’ as winner taking down the title for INR 13,740. ‘neeru786’ defeated ‘suhael’ in the heads-up battle. ‘suhael’ collected INR 8,728 for the second place finish.

 

LBS #2 INR 220 (75K GTD) (RE)

 

The second tournament of the day drew a participation of 468 entries to create a prizepool of INR 93,600. Top 31 places took a share of the prizepool with a min-cash of INR 824. It was ‘vngnc.d3’ who took down the second event for INR 19,796. ‘vngnc.d3’ outlasted ‘User_name’ in the final round of the battle where the runner-up collected INR 13,329 for the finish.

 

LBS #3 INR 440 (65K GTD) (FO) 100 per Bounty

 

The bounty tournament of the day saw 242 participants generating a prizepool of INR 72,600. ‘Pogback’ outlasted these entries to collect the first-place prize of INR 15,355. ‘Pogback’ defeated ‘playerxyz’ in the last round of the tournament while the second place finisher collected INR 10,338.

 

LBS #4 INR 220 (100K GTD) (R+A)

 

The last event of the day was also the highest guaranteed tournament of the day. This event drew 273 entries which generated a prizepool of INR 1,11,800. The prizepool was distributed to top 23 places with a min-cash of INR 1,297. ‘ashu123’ collected INR 25,994 foe the first place finish. ‘ashu123’ eliminated ‘Prajit’ at the second place where he collected INR 17,609 for the finish.
