Latest Mega Stack title goes to Mandar Madaye

Spartan Poker is always innovating and presenting different tournament offerings for its loyal user base. However, one tournament that has been around for quite some time now is Mega Stack INR 12 Lakh GTD and it has become a very popular tournament among players, played every Tuesday night on the platform.

Yesterday, another Mega Stack tournament kicked off at 7:30pm and by the end of the registration period, we had a total of 436 entries joining the competition, each contributing the entry fee of INR 3,300. The guarantee was passed and a new prize pool of INR 13+ Lakh was shared among the top 39 finishers with a min-cash of INR 9,025.

As usual, there were a lot of Spartan Poker regulars in contention but the winner emerging last night was the lesser known Mandar Madaye aka ‘MAMA04’ who powered through the field to take home the Mega Stack title and the top prize of INR 2,62,254. In heads-up, he beat ‘Yea_gl_gg’ who won INR 1,74,356 for finishing second.

There was a lot of back and forth action before the winner was announced in Level #47 of the tournament, with the blinds at 40k/80k-9,000. By this point, Madaye had 5.5 million chips as compared to his opponent’s 3.1 million. In the final hand, both players played it easy on the 5d 2d Js Qc 9d board. On the river, Yea_gl_gg played a big bluff, shoving with AK, and Madaye accepted the challenge and made the call with AQ, winning with Queen pair.

“It’s my biggest victory!” exclaimed Madaye when we got in touch with him after this victory on Spartan. “It’s my personal best online score and the win has got my blood pumping and waiting for more…”

Other known names to cash in the tournament last night were Zarvan Tumboli (34th), Ayan Ray (29th), Siddarth Singhvi (22nd), Bunty Batra (15th), Siddhanth Kapoor (14th), Anant Purohit (13th), Srihari Bang (12th), Arjanveer Chadha (11th), Parikshit Dhall (4th), and Sajjan Barnwal (3rd).
