The Indian poker player has been around for a while now, and according to Hendon Mob, his first cash was in 2018, when he ranked 20th on the WPTDS Main Event of the WPTDeepStacks—WPTDS India and took home ₹299,000. Since then, he has played poker in Indian and foreign series, including the World Poker Tour Prime in Cambodia in 2022, when he took home $2,640 at the WPT Prime Main Event, Event #14. Being affiliated with a poker company, and a major one like PokerBaazi, increases Singh’s opportunities of playing poker, both in domestic and international series.
His highest cash to date came in the same year at the NLHO, APPT National Event of Asia Pacific Poker Tour event, when he wrote a cheque of $16,083 for himself. These are just some of the highlights of the young player’s career, and it’s only a matter of time before he goes on to bigger events.
PokerBaazi is also making a name for itself and India in the poker industry. It recently signed with the poker behemoth World Poker Tour for an online series with a GTD of ₹35 Crore. PokerBaazi has previously hosted tournaments like the G.O.A.T, National Poker Series (NPS), and the Indian Poker Masters (IPM), among others. All this is making the poker industry all the more mainstream, something that will inspire people to embrace the game and prove that anyone with the right amount of confidence, grit and skill can achieve whatever they wish for in this industry.

In October 2024, Kabir Chhatwal won the biggest prize money in online poker at G.O.A.T 2024, a life-altering ₹25 Crore. WPT India and PokerBaazi are coming together to increase that number, with the GTD just the beginning, and the actual prize pool can be much higher.
Singh’s poker journey is inspirational, and something to admire for anyone aspiring to make a name for themselves on the felts. And this seems to be only the beginning for the young poker player, who is showing no signs of slowing down.
