Kunal Patni Ships Mega Stack High Roller At Vietnam Poker Tournament 2025

Kunal Patni has emerged victorious in Event #15: Mega Stack High Roller 8-Max at the Vietnam Poker Tour (VPT), capturing one of the most coveted titles of the series. His triumph was a blend of skill, patience, and undeniable charisma that saw him rise above the rest and clinch the prestigious gold trophy.

Day 2 of the event began with just 20 contenders still in the hunt, each bringing their own unique style and strategy to the felt. But it was Kunal who stood tall among them, navigating through intense pressure and tough decisions. The money bubble burst at 15 players. Yet, Kunal remained calm and composed, outlasting all his opponents in a true display of poker excellence.

This win is especially significant as it marks Kunal Patni’s second major High Roller title of the VPT series, reinforcing his status as a seasoned professional and a consistent force on the live poker circuit. The victory came with a handsome prize of approximately ₹31.7 Lakh, but perhaps more valuable was the honour of lifting that gleaming gold trophy—an emblem of perseverance, brilliance, and elite-level poker mastery.

Throughout the tournament, Kunal combined technical precision with a magnetic table presence. Patni has had a good run at the Vietnam Poker Tour, earlier being in the ITM list of the Event #5: VND 33 Million Single Day High Roller 8-Max, which fellow Indian Deepak Bothra shipped.

This win is yet another reminder of why he remains one of the most admired names in the game.

The Mega Stack High Roller is one of the most prestigious events on the VPT calendar, attracting top talent from across the region. To come out on top against such a stacked field is a feat worthy of recognition. And Kunal did it in style—calculated, composed, and confident.
