Kunal Patni Makes It To Mini High Roller FT at USOP Grand Finale Hai Phong 2024

Kunal Patni is going places, and it looks like before the year ends, the Indian poker player plans to add a lot more to his kitty. He has been persistent with his efforts at the U Series of Poker’s USOP Grand Finale 2024, and he has now made it to the Final Table of the Mini High Roller Event, which has a VND 500 Million GTD. Nine players have made their way to the Final Table. Here’s wishing Kunal all the very best for his time at the felts.

Patni was at the forefront of the playing field in 2024, appearing on ITM lists several times. In Hai Phong itself, he was 4th on the ITM list of Event #17: High Roller 6-Max, which Lee Hon Cheong shipped. Even prior, he held his stead in the Madness Kickoff Event and was on the ITM list.

And Hai Phong wasn’t the only stomping ground for the veteran poker player this year. In 2024, he also travelled to Phu Quoc and lifted his second APT trophy by shipping the Baby Superstar Challenge, taking home VND 1,436,070,000. And even that was not the beginning of Patni’s APT achievements. He began that by shipping Tick Tock BOOM!, taking home VND 93,449,200.

Patni has also had some interesting times on the national front. He was the captain of Deccan Aces, the team that won the Poker Sports League (PSL 6) this year. The series was one of the first poker series to stream on JioCinema. He has been playing for a long while now, with his first recorded cash being in 2014 at the Asia Pacific Poker Tour – APPT Asia Championship of Poker, Macau, when he shipped the HK$ 2,500 No Limit Hold’em Rebuy Championship, taking home HK$ 176,200.
