KKPoker Reveals Its New Brand Ambassador In David Dongwoo Ko

David Dongwoo Ko, who had been crowned as the WPT Champion, has stepped into a new role as brand ambassador for KKPoker, a leading online poker platform dedicated to delivering rewarding and secure poker experiences.

Ko, a rising star in the poker scene, captured attention with his victory at the WPT Montreal Main Event in May 2024. At just 23 years old, he navigated through a field of 882 contenders to claim a prize money worth $320,000. Ko also has a WSOP ring to his name.

Having been part of the KKPoker community for over a year, Ko now embraces his ambassadorial responsibilities, championing KKPoker’s mission to expand in both online and live poker space.

“I’m delighted to announce my partnership with KKPoker as an ambassador! Over the past year, I’ve met wonderful community members and received tremendous support. I encourage everyone to join and discover what this community has to offer,” said Ko.

The Canadian’s journey from being a recreational player to a professional one began just two years ago during a visit to Las Vegas, where he fell in love with the game. Returning to Vancouver, he honed his skills using online resources, swiftly progressing from cash games to tournaments. Notably, he secured a £40,000 victory at the WSOP Colossus event in Nottingham and earned his first WSOP ring.

Originally from South Korea and now residing in Vancouver, Ko has carved out an inspiring path in the poker universe. His achievements include capturing two additional WSOP rings in Calgary before clinching the remarkable WPT title in Montreal, despite enduring a power outage during the final table.

Ko’s ambitions extend beyond recent victories; currently competing in the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas, he aims to secure a WSOP bracelet and ultimately complete the prestigious Triple Crown of poker.

Joining Isabelle Tremblay and Paul Carr as KKPoker ambassadors, Ko looks forward to promoting the brand’s innovative integration of live and online poker experiences. The young gun’s personal journey, seamlessly blended online and offline poker which aligns perfectly with KKPoker’s mission to unite these two fields.
