Joydeep Mukherjee, CMO, Deltatech, Discusses Challenges Real Time Gaming Faces

Mr. Joydeep Mukherjee is among the pioneering individuals in the Indian real-time gaming space. He is the Chief Marketing Officer of Deltatech Gaming, which acquired Adda52 in 2017. Mr Mukherjee had held various positions in a career spanning decades, ranging from telecommunications to ed-tech.

We recently contacted Mr. Mukherjee for a tete-a-tete that explored the various aspects of a company that’s front and center as the great Indian gaming story unfolds. • Adda52 promotes the social aspects of poker through its numerous activities. Can you elaborate on the specific features of your platform that facilitate socialization among the poker community?

Adda52’s mission is to establish poker as a mainstream game in India. We are doing this by building a very vibrant and strong poker-playing community in the country. In order to do this, we are bridging the gap between online and offline poker experiences. We’re the only platform that offers this combination, which fosters connections beyond the screen and allows players to meet, strategize, and revel in the spirit of poker. We expect to continue this through our flagship events like the Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT), Adda52 Online Poker Series (AOPS), and the upcoming cash festival, Immortals.
