Joey Weissman Dominates To Win 2025 PokerGO Cup

Joey Weissman had one of the best runs in PGT history to become the 2025 PokerGO Cup champion. Weissman finished the eight-event series with one victory, four top-two finishes, and $930,600 in prize money on his way to amassing 758 PGT points. He topped the leaderboard by a wide margin, never falling out of the top position after his victory in Event #2.

On his way to winning the 2025 PokerGO Cup, Weissman placed second in Event #1: $5,000 NL Hold’em for $123,900, first in Event #2: $10,000 NL Hold’em for $295,000, second in Event #4: $10,000 NL Hold’em for $161,700, and second in Event #8: $25,000 NL Hold’em for $350,000.

For winning the 2025 PokerGO Cup, Weissman earned a $25,000 PGT Passport bonus prize.

2024 Poker Masters Leaderboard Top 10

In addition to winning the 2025 PokerGO Cup, Weissman climbed to the top of the season-long PGT leaderboard. He now has 907 points on the season, ahead of Kristen Foxen’s 857 and Eric Blair’s 722. This 2025 PGT season, Weissman has one win, six cashes, and $1,005,300 (~$1 Million) won. He’s also the first PGT player to win more than $1 Million in 2025.

It’s a quick turnaround for the PGT. Next up is the PGT Mixed Games series running February 25-March 5. Then it’s the first-ever $100,000 buy-in Super High Roller Bowl Mixed starting on March 6.

After that, the break from hold’em continues with the PGT PLO Series running March 25-April 5. On April 8, the 2025 U.S. Poker Open kicks off. All of these events take place at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas.
