Jagdeep Singh, Prafull Hasbe Ship Freezeout and Superstack Events at DPT Grand 2024

Day 3 of DPT Grand 2024 resumed this afternoon, and two events grabbed headlines, with two more players championing DPT titles. Jagdeep Singh is the brand-new champion for the DPT Grand Freezeout Championship. He has raked in the prize of ₹14,17,691 and is the second owner of the prestigious DPT bracelet. A couple of days ago, Sagar Raj won the first-ever DPT bracelet for his win in the DPT Grand Rush event, taking home ₹18 Lakh.

DPT Grand 2024 Freezeout Championship

Jagdeep Singh won the coveted DPT bracelet battling Kapil Garg in heads-up play. When it mattered, Jagdeep had 9 ♣ 7 ♦ , and Kapil had Q ♦ J ❤ .  The board came down with J ♦ 7 ♠ 9 ♠ 8 ❤ 6 ♦ . The turn and the river saw 8 ❤ and 6 ♦ , and Kapil’s run came to an end. 

Earlier, Anand Babu, who had actually entered the day’s play as the chip stack leader, was shown the door by Kapil Garg. Anand Babu had K ♦ 7 ♠ while Kapil Garg had A ♣ 7 ❤ . The board showed up A ♣ 5 ♦ 9 ♠ 3 ❤ . The Freezeout event saw a total of 141 entries.

DPT Grand 2024 Superstack

The other event to grab headlines was the Superstack, shipped by Prafull Hasbe. Hasbe fought it out against 100+ entries and took home the top prize of  ₹6,47,934. Like all super-entertaining poker plays, Hasbe was locked in heads-up with Siddarth Singhvi, who finally took home ₹4,79,562 for his effort. 

In the heads up battle, Hasbe had T ♦ 8 ❤ while Singhvi had A ♦ 4 ♦ . The board woke up with the cards Q ❤ 5 ♣ 6 ❤ 4 ❤ 7 ❤ , leading to Hasbe’s triumph

DPT Grand 2024, powered by Adda52, has several events left, including three more bracelet events, which includes the Highroller event and running side by side is the NLH Bounty. Both of these events are on their Day 1 stages. The line-up for tomorrow includes Day 2 for Highroller and NLH Bounty followed by the ₹60K Grand Championship Day 1A and the Megastack Hyper Turbo Championship Day 1.
