It’s a Fri-YAY for Vineesh Bhatia at PokerBaazi

One of the popular tournaments recently added at PokerBaazi in its list of weekly feature tournaments is the Fri-YAY tourney which promises a guarantee of INR 5 Lakhs for a buy-in of INR 1,650. Last night’s winner of this Fri-YAY was Vineesh Bhatia who plays as ‘VanielNegranu’ on the site

Plenty of the usual suspects taking part in this tournament and eventually when the field got whittled down, there was one familiar name in heads-up battle. Mayank Jaggi had a pretty good week at PokerBaazi winning the Endeavour tournament on Wednesday night for nice sum of more than INR 2.6 Lakhs. He was hoping to make another title run but unfortunately fell just short. One man’s runner-up means another man’s win and Vineesh Bhatia will have no complaints about taking down this title and kicking off his weekend on a good note.

The final hand had both players move their stacks into the middle preflop. A pair of Aces on the flop gave both players a set of Aces. However Jaggi had kicker problems as his AxTx was dominated by the Ace King of Bhatia. Mayank ‘alwaystiltAA’ Jaggi took home INR 77,216 for the runner-up while Bhatia scooped up INR 1,04,700 for his winning run in this Fri-YAY tournament. Bhatia is Risk and Business consultant who is based out of Noida. He considers himself to be only a recreational player and has fun playing on the PokerBaazi platform. “It’s fun playing on Baazi. I am a recreational player. Good to get tips from the younger players and learn at the tables watching them,” says the 42 year old as he signs off.
