IPC Megastacks 20L Freeroll Concludes; Navaneeth A Is The Winner

The final and concluding event of India Poker Championship (IPC) Megastacks May 2022, the 20L Freeroll has ended, thus officially concluding the series. The event saw an impressive 76 entries and a huge rail on the FT. Finally, the event came to an end with a two-way deal between Navaneeth Anantharaman and Sameer Rattonsey, wherein they decided to split the pot for ₹2,50,000 each and continue to play for the title along with an additional ₹35,000 for the winner.

The Tournament Director (TD), Dexter Mercado expected about 40 odd entries at the freeroll, because, several players had already left to play the World Poker Tour (WPT) Vietnam, among other reasons. However, it was overwhelming to see 76 entries at this freeroll tournament. The top 10 places at this event were paid with a min-cash of ₹30,000. The event saw a lot of fun, enthusiasm, and action-packed poker scenes. Apart from the payouts, the event also gave out India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) June 2022 tickets worth ₹10 Lakh. 

The event also witnessed some memorable moments like Nikita Luther making it to another Final Table (FT) at the series, making it her second FT appearance. Notable players like Chirag Sodha, Paawan Bansal, Anant Purohit, Rajasekhar Puttamsetty, Saransh Garg, Siddarth Singhvi among others were seen grinding at this exciting freeroll.
