Another engaging day for players grinding on Spartan Poker’s INR 25 Crore GTD IOPC July 2020 series. So far 48 titles winners have grabbed the largest chunk of prize pool with 72 more tourneys to go before the highly awaited series comes to an end. Yesterday’s biggest attraction was Wednesday flagship event Destiny INR 50 Lakhs GTD. So, let’s read further to find out the champions of IOPC Day 7…
Igniting the 7th day of IOPC July 2020 edition was INR 4L GTD event that drew 867 runners, creating INR 4.33 Lakhs worth prize pool. Walking home with the minimum cash were the top 63 players. Racing ahead in the competition to grab his first title of the ongoing series was Roshan Gurbuxani aka ‘roshanthefish’. Ending up in the second position was his opponent ‘Rb21’. Gurbuxani claimed the top prize after knocking out the latter with his 999 and Ace kicker.
Mystery player under the username ‘FunkeyFox’ is fully charged up to take down one event after another. The INR 1,650 buy-in event clocked in 464 entries, accumulating INR 6.96 Lakhs in prize pool. Eliminating ‘Armitrage’ in heads-up, the champion grabbed the first prize. The prize pool was eventually divided among the top 31 players who earned INR 6,125 in min-cash
The 44th event ran with INR 5 Lakhs GTD last afternoon on Spartan Poker. The buy-in went down to INR 880, grabbing the attention of 809 entries, smoothly drawing a bigger prize pool worth INR 6.47 Lakhs. In level #58, the final two players ‘LuckyLuciano’ (As Kc) and ‘monzzard910’ (7s 7h) went all-in. And the former picked a top pair when the board ran 3c 9s 6h Kd Qs, thus, taking home the prestigious title!
Well-known circuit grinder, Priyank Kothari aka ‘Piko’ took down the fourth tourney yesterday. The action picked up at 6 pm, pulling in 400 entries. With INR 1,100 buy-in, the event drew INR 4L in prize pool. Money reached the top 31 places with each of them earning at locking INR 3.5K. Event #44 runner-up, ‘Armitrage’ once again ended up in the second place after being defeated by Kothari in heads-up.

Bothra aka ‘chimpoo’ claimed his second IOPC title in the current series after winning the Wednesday popular Destiny and earned the biggest slice from a juicy INR 62.90 Lakhs worth prize pool. After a heads-up deal, we saw that ‘Armitrage’ running deep, this time finishing in the third position while ‘5BetNinja’ secured the second-place payout.
A strong field of 1,005 was observed in 6th event of the day, collecting a guarantee smashing prize pool of INR 15.07 Lakhs. Top 87 players went away capturing INR 4K for their efforts. After several intense hours, the last man standing was Siddharth Ojha aka ‘SidSparta21’ who knocked out poker pro Sumit Sapra aka ‘Sands Myth’ in heads-up and clinched to the first-place cash prize.
IOPC Day 7 concluded with 621 runners participating in the IOPC Special Destiny boasting INR 10 Lakhs. Climbing up the list and conquering the field was circuit regular Anirudh Reddy aka ‘flash’ who defeated ‘borntrouble’ in heads-up. The top 50 spots in this event received a paycheck worth a minimum of INR 6,210 each!
