IOPC Day 20: Bhati Ships Friday Spotlight For 9,97,644; Yadav Continues To Rule The Leaderboard


India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) July 2021 has been tremendously successful so far. But the action hasn’t slowed down yet. A few more days to go before IOPC July 2021 will get its champion. Until then, the players continue to fight with all their might on the virtual felts to grab the top spots. Yesterday was no different; both pros and amateurs battled it out to grab a share of the massive treasure. Here’s what went down on Day 20.

IOPC #120 – ₹2.75 Lakh

Day 20 began with a relatively small, but action-wise massive game. The first tourney of the day, IOPC #120 attracted 717 entries. The initial guarantee was surpassed and the final prize pool stood at ₹2,86,800. The top 55 places were paid a min-cash of ₹1,405.

Online reg Mohit Mehta aka ‘thejoker’ clinched the title adding ₹55,639 to his bankroll. At the second spot was Sooraj Todi who cashed ₹35,276.

IOPC #121 – ₹5.25 Lakh

This tournament was no less than a battle for the top spot. 370 entries made it possible for the final prize pool to stand at ₹5,55,000. A min-cash of ₹4,884 was paid to the top 31 places.

Saahib Bawa aka ‘Str8$$$Homey’ topped the table and cashed ₹1,17,382, while IOPC #115 winner, ‘durrred’ bagged ₹ 79,032 at the runner-up spot.

IOPC #122 – ₹4.75 Lakh

This tourney was a ₹990 buy-in event that witnessed 478 entries flooding its virtual felts. Top 39 places made the money and grabbed a min-cash of ₹3,277.

M Balakrishnan aka ‘LACHANCE’ grabbed the title and took home a pay cheque of ₹81,344. At the runner-up spot Amandeep Singh Arora aka ‘asa’ who cashed ₹63,599.

IOPC #123 Friday Prime – ₹15 Lakh

IOPC Friday Prime was a tough tournament with poker pros battling it out. This tournament witnessed 2,024 entries crushing the advertised guarantee. The final prize pool stood at ₹16,19,200. Top 175 places received a min-cash of ₹2,477.

Saroj Mehta aka ‘Pepperchino’ shipped this tourney for an impressive sum of ₹2,89,998. The runner-up was Amit Kaushik aka ‘deshominisation,’ who had a payday of ₹1,70,825.

IOPC #124 Friday Spotlight – ₹55 Lakh

Friday spotlight saw some intense action with 588 entries slogging it out on the virtual felts. This ₹11,000 buy-in tournament surpassed its initial guarantee by a good margin as the final prize pool stood at ₹58,80,000. A min-cash of ₹28,812 was paid to the top 55 places.

IOPC Highroller winner, Mohit Bhati nailed this tournament for a whopping ₹9,97,644. He was the biggest winner of the night excluding the Super Highroller winner ‘Pradzzz.’ Mystery player ‘Rootahua Machi’ finished second for ₹8,66,315.

IOPC #125 All Rounder – ₹10 Lakh

This All Rounder event surpassed its advertised guarantee by a slim margin and generated a final prize pool of ₹10,82,000. Out of the 541 entries, the top 47 places were paid a min-cash of ₹6,167.

The current leaderboard topper Anuj Yadav aka ‘tittooTauji’ shipped this tournament and took a pay cheque of ₹2,10,881. Aurkodyuti Das aka ‘ad87’ was the runner-up for ₹ 1,33,951.

  • Min-cash: ₹6,167

IOPC Super Highroller – ₹1.40 crore

IOPC Super Highroller was undoubtedly the biggest tournament of the day. With a massive ₹1.40 crore guarantee and ₹1,05,000 buy-in,  the action kept everyone on the edge of their seats. Mystery player ‘Pradzzz’ emerged victorious after an intense battle with Guneet Kwatra. The mystery player went on to grab the title for a jaw-dropping sum of ₹35,22,400. ‘Pradzzz’ defeated poker champions like Sriharsha Doddapaneni, Harshit Sanghi among others.
