The second-last day of the India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) took place yesterday and it witnessed top players battling it out to nail the top spots as the series draws to an end. Among those who managed to clinch titles were Siddharth Singhvi, Arunkumar Singh, Vaibhav Sharma among others. Let’s quickly have a look at the action on Day 17.
IOPC #102 was the first tourney of the day, which surpassed its initial guarantee to generate a final prize pool of ₹3,48,000. The tourney had 696 entries out of which the top 55 places made it in the money. The min-cash stood at ₹1,705.
Shiv Chugh aka ‘cheekychugh’ topped the table and added ₹61,595 to his bankroll. Mystery player ‘oneeyedjack’ at the runner-up spot walked home with ₹48,721.
This event had a player field of 314 entries. The top 27 places finished in the money and the min-cash stood at ₹6,500.
Siddharth Singhvi aka ‘PeterPunter’ shipped the tourney and took home a pay cheque of ₹1,43,975. IOPC January 2020 Millionaire winner, Anurag Srivastava aka ‘CultOfPersonality’ finished at the runner-up spot for ₹97,175.

This event recorded a final prize pool of ₹5,56,000 which was slightly higher than its advertised guarantee. Out of the 695 entries at this tourney, the top 55 places made it in the money. The min-cash stood at ₹2,724.
IOPC reg Arunkumar Singh nailed this event for ₹1,07,864. Mystery player ‘RoshuRen’ had a payday of ₹68,388 at the runner-up spot.
The second biggest tourney of the day witnessed 712 entries battling it out for the top prize. The final prize pool of ₹28,48,000 surpassed the advertised guarantee. The top 63 places finished in the money; the min-cash stood at ₹12,388.
Well-known players Sreekanth Narayan aka ‘GL1DE’ and Sahil Mahboobani aka ‘Captain Falcon’ ended the tourney in a deal. Narayan took ₹3,89,730 while Mahboobani added ₹3,85,884 to his bankroll.
IOPC #106 was the biggest tourney of Day 17. This Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) event witnessed the top 23 places out of the 209 entries enjoying a portion of the prize pool. The min-cash stood at ₹52,200.
Vaibhav Sharma aka ‘Beautiful Mistakes’ took the biggest share from the prize pool followed by Avadh Shah aka ‘Gianfranco Zola.’ Sharma laughed his way to the bank with ₹7,37,762, and Shah cashed ₹6,73,113.
This Saturday Spotlight event witnessed the top 47 places out of the 478 entries finishing in the money. The min-cash at this tourney stood at ₹6,840.
Gadadhar Behera aka ‘Indianthug’ topped the table and cashed ₹2,33,880. Tarush Gupta aka ‘Tarush123’ finished second for ₹1,48,560.
The event witnessed the top 63 places out of the 671 entries finishing in the money. The min-cash stood at ₹2,975.
Rajat Mahajan aka ‘SlugaBed’ emerged victorious and took a pay cheque of ₹1,32,354. Mystery player ‘blackClover1813’ finished second for ₹83,448.
