IndiaPlays’ Resolution Series Ends On A High Note

IndiaPlays recently concluded its blockbuster poker series—Resolution Series, and it was a huge success. Several players took home hefty rewards from this series and started the year with a bang. The series recorded a total of 1,413 entries across 14 different tournaments.

The Resolution Series took place between the 10th to 18th of January 2023 on IndiaPlays. The series had a total guaranteed prize pool of ₹15 Lakh that was awarded in 14 poker tournaments across nine days. The highlight of the series was that the events in this series were rake free. IndiaPlays did not charge any rake for any of the events at the series and the entire buy-in amount was added to the tournament prize pool. This led to the prize pools increasing significantly. 

The biggest event on the schedule was the 300K PLO6 event which had a prize pool of ₹3 Lakh for a buy-in of just ₹1,500. The event, which took place on 13th January 2023, was shipped by player Varun Bhanushali aka ‘MojoJojo.’ Bhanushali emerged victorious over an entry field of 90 players and cashed ₹78,000. Bittu Kumar Singh aka ‘TINKU’ was the runner-up at this event who took home ₹36,000 in prize money.
