Indian Contingent Ranks 5th At Poker Dream 15

Poker Dream 15 Malaysia has concluded, and several Indians participated in the events, either clinching victory or making it to the Final Table. With the tournament ending and statistics trickling in, Poker Dream has announced that India ranked 5th in the trophy count.

China led the list, taking a whopping 16 trophies and a total collective prize pool of MYR 1,576,600. Siddharth Arya Jolly was instrumental in the Indian contingent ranking 5th by shipping the Event #23 NLH—Turbo, taking home MYR 11,700 (~₹2 Lakh)

While Jolly shipped the event, several other Indians saw cash at other events, making their presence felt in the premium poker event. Earlier, Anmol Mehta, Arya, and Somashekhar KM were at the final tables for different events in the tournament.

This is quite a moment for the Indian poker ecosystem, with India ranking so high in the championships tally in what’s quickly becoming one of the most important poker tournaments. The tournament had a Main Event with MYR 4,000,000 GTD, which China’s Shaoshuai Li shipped.
