Hard Rock to Launch Online Casino

The iGaming division of Hard Rock International, one of the world’s most globally recognized brands, has signed a strategic partnership with Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) to build a new online casino. Hard Rock is into the hospitality business and is also a casino operator based in USA, and the company made this announcement yesterday, 5th Feb 2018.

Gaming Innovation Group is a company that provides gambling solutions and entertainment to companies. As per this deal, GiG will design and develop Hard Rock’s online casino as well as provide Hard Rock with a digital consumer portal and a back-end platform to manage operations of the online casino.

GiG’s design and development team will work together with Hard Rock and the latter has plans of launching this online casino later in 2018. “The online casino will be a stand-out product with the sizzle of the Hard Rock music, entertainment and lifestyle brand,” said Robin Eirik Reed, GiG Chief Executive Officer.

Hard Rock has also been looking to expand its gaming footprint into Asia, actively pursuing a casino license in Japan and having indicated their interest of building a casino in Vietnam in the past. Just the brand name of ‘Hard Rock’ seems good enough to do well in most regions that they may enter in the future.

“Hard Rock has an ambitious plan to become a global leader in the international online gaming space. We are confident that, together with GIG, we can disrupt the market, through product innovation and unique user experience,” said Kresimir Spajic, Online Gaming SVP at Hard Rock, in a press release.
