Guneet Kwatra Nails Sunday High Roller For Over 14 Lakh


Sunday nights on the virtual poker felts are usually action-packed with high-value tournaments running and top pros competing. And last night was no less. The night saw several players competing and a few nailing titles. Here’s what the night looked like:

Armageddon – ₹20 Lakh GTD

Armageddon on Spartan Poker had two million on offer, which was crushed generating a final prize pool of ₹22,05,000. It had a total of 441 entries consisting of 204 entries, 71 re-entries and 166 rebuys battling it out. The top 39 of these made it in the money as the min-cash stood at ₹15,214.

Ayush Garg aka ‘Tabono’ and Deepesh Raka aka ‘prince1993’  had a two-way deal, wherein the two players cashed ₹4,13,810  and ₹3,22,218 respectively.

Sunday Superstack – ₹35 Lakh GTD

Spartan Poker’s Sunday Superstack had 210 entries, 89 re-entries and 141 rebuys (440 entries) crushing the advertised guarantee to generate a final prize pool of ₹44,00,000. A min-cash of ₹30,360 was paid to the top 39 places. 

Sahil Chutani aka ‘$lim$hady19’ and Shashank Jain aka ‘gtoexploiter7’ ended the tourney in a deal. While Chutani cashed ₹7,50,995, Jain took home a paycheque of ₹7,17,724.

Sunday High Roller – ₹50 Lakh GTD

Sunday High Roller was running high on action as well as prize money. It crushed the advertised guarantee to record a final prize pool of ₹62,00,000. 124 entries, including 73 entries, 20 re-entries and 31 rebuys, entered this ₹55,000 buy-in event. The min-cash stood at ₹1,27,100 as the top 13 places tased a portion of the prize pool.

Guneet Kwatra aka ‘GeeKay’ and Abhinav Iyer aka ‘hightr0ller,’ who is currently grinding at the ongoing WSOP 2022 in Las Vegas, decided on a two-way deal. Kwatra took a lion’s share of ₹14,04,485, while Iyer had a payday of ₹13,63,814.

Adda52 Big Game – ₹50 Lakh GTD

Adda52 Big Game was indeed a big one, with a prize pool of ₹75,75,003 up for grabs. The top 30 places out of the 303 entries (175 entries and 128 re-entries) making it in the money. The min-cash stood at ₹60,600.

Mystery player ‘chutny,’ Ayaz Khan aka ‘Badbeat4’ and Arsh Grover aka ‘BigggTymeR’ ended the tourney in a three-way deal, pocketing ₹19,39,200, ₹11,55,188 and ₹8,71,125 respectively. Grover, who is currently in Las Vegas, was seen grinding at a live event alongside playing this event on his handheld device. He shared pictures of the same on his Instagram story.

PokerBaazi’s BSS SuperStacks crushed the initial guarantee to generate a final prize pool of ₹27,55,000. The top 63 places made it in the money as the min-cash stood at ₹10,190. The tourney saw an entry field of 551 entries (265 entries and 286 re-entries).

Mystery player ‘nodeLock11’ and Sreeprakaash Seetharaman aka ‘fitzmagic’ ended the tourney in a deal, taking home ₹4,60,000 and ₹4,50,000 respectively.

Somesh Patel aka ‘JackNotMa’ and Vishnu Khandelwal aka ‘violator2018’ ended the tourney in a deal cashing ₹1,46,292 each. Additionally, Patel pocketed ₹1,27,440 and Khandelwal bagged ₹13,789 in bounties.

Sunday Highroller – ₹10 Lah GTD

PokerStarsSunday Highroller had 118 entries (70 entries and 48 re-entries) playing for a prize pool of ₹11,80,000. The top 15 places cashed as the min-cash stood at ₹25,176.

Somesh Patel aka ‘JackNotMa’ shipped this tournament too for a sum of ₹2,58,639. Ankit Wadhawan aka ‘b00mtr00p3r’ finished second for ₹1,99,060.
