Gokul Raj Ships The WPT Prime India 2023 Turbo Closer Event

Gokul Raj took home his second title from WPT Prime India 2023 after nailing the Turbo Closer event just four days ago. Raj emerged victorious to walk home with another WPT trophy, title and a top prize of ₹5,71,000. Earlier in the series, Raj had nailed the Ship It title for ₹4,25,000.

The event had a buy-in of ₹20,000 and saw a total of 105 entries playing the event. The final prize pool of ₹18,74,600 was shared by the top 13 players at this event who took home a min-cash of ₹46,800. The final table of the event went on for a good one-and-a-half hour before crowing it’s champion.

Raj held T ♠ 4 ♦ against Spartan Poker Pro Zarvan Tumboli‘s A ♣ 4 ❤ on the board of 6 ❤ 6 ♣ 8 ♦ K ♣ T ♣. Raj got his dream river and his record second title of the series.

Zarvan Tumboli Finishes Second At WPT Prime India 2023 Turbo Closer

Spartan Poker Pro Zarvan Tumboli started the final table as the chip leader and gave a good fight. He lost a couple of pots during the game which led to him losing a significant amount of stack. He ended up taking the runner-up spot and took home ₹3,51,400 for his runner-up finish.
