Gaurav Sood wins FTS 2.0 Kickoff Event!

Yesterday, Final Table Series (FTS) 2.0 kicked off on Spartan Poker with the INR 75 Lakh GTD Kickoff Event. With a buy-in of INR 11,000, there were 718 entries that joined the field and it boiled down to 8 final players when play halted. It was Prakhar Kapoor aka ‘Prak27’ who was in the chip lead when the final table set but he wasn’t able to keep up the lead for too long.

In fact, he lost a few early pots and was among the first few to bust once the final table resumed today which was being live-streamed across social media platforms. There were a number of known entities on the FT but eventually, it was Gaurav Sood aka ‘mozzie17’ who went on to claim top honours, bagging the title and adding INR 14.39 Lakh to his poker bankroll.

Final Table Recap:

Being one of the shortest stacks on the final table, Gokul Raj aka ‘Super Kings’ wasn’t able to chip up early on even though he was dealt Pocket Aces in the first hand of the day. In a while of play, he was busted in 8th place and took home INR 1.6 Lakh for 8th place. Soon after him was Pulkit Mehra aka ‘MAAHI MAAREGAA’ who finished in 7th place for INR 2.31 Lakh.

We also had former FTS Main Event winner Arjun Pasricha aka ‘lol this guy‘ on the final table and he went on to finish in 6th place here for a payday of INR 3.1 Lakh followed by Prakhar Kapoor aka ‘Prak27’ who took home INR 3.95 Lakh for finishing in 5th place. Arjunn Agrawal aka ‘Arjunn Ag’ finished in 4th place and took home a bit over INR 5 Lakh.

The commentators on live stream were going gaga over one player and that was Amit More aka ‘Timaerom’ who was playing some really unconventional poker but his good run came to an end in 3rd place, taking away INR 6.46 Lakh in prize money. Talking about good runs, we had Kushagra Mehta aka ‘Nkush’ who lost a big pot early in heads-up and it was difficult to come back from that, finishing 2nd for a prize of INR 9,03,000!
