Gaurav Sood takes down PokerStars India Highroller

Indian players are continuing to impress in every sphere, be it the running WPT Vietnam or online tournaments. Every day of the week, PokerStars comes up with their online tournament that is well-received by pro poker players in the country. Highroller 10 Lakh GTD kicked off on Thursday with none other than Gaurav Sood being crowned the winner of the day.

Thursday proved to be good for Sood who plays under the name ‘3betPanda’ on PokerStars India. The game saw a total number of 140 entries with an INR 7,700 buy-in. The Gurgaon boy is building his poker bankroll by increasing his number of victories.

Sood defeated Sreekanth Narayan heads-up. The Highroller saw a total prize pool of 10 Lakh with 3betPanda bagging INR 2,08,329 and Narayan banking INR 1 Lakh. Narayan was recently recognized as the winner of Big Slick, a tournament offering on Adda52.

Besides, the 6-hour long tournament had 23 places to be paid. Few of the notable players include Rajat Sharma (3^rd), Nishant Sharma (7^th), Ankit Wadhawan (10^th), PokerStars Team Pro Aditya Agarwal (16^th), Sagar Chowdhury (17^th), and Sam Anand (23^rd).

Sood is a frequent face among online tournaments taking place each day. Not that long ago, he was recorded to have won PokerStars India’s Uppercut PKO 6-Max INR 8 Lakh GTD with 184 entries where he bagged INR 1.7 Lakh followed by a recent win in PokerStars India Uppercut PKO INR 8 Lakh GTD. Beating the tough field of 228, he managed to add INR 2.1 Lakh to his poker bankroll.
