Garena Reveals Date & Schedule of Free Fire World Series 2021 Singapore

The first edition of the Free Fire World Series 2021 by Garena will be held between 22–29 May in Singapore. The World Series will feature the top 22 teams from 14 different regions who will battle for a prize pool of USD 2 Million.

The safety of Garena players will be taken care of by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and the Singapore Cybersports & Online Gaming Association (SCOGA).

The tournament is expected to take place in two stages, namely play-ins round and final tournament. The play-ins are scheduled to take place on 22 May, in which 12 teams will be battling for two berths in the finals. The finals will take place on 29 May, where the top teams from around the world will compete for the World Series titles.

The teams that have been qualified for the play-ins of the free fire world series are DEA (MENA), Agent Exp (Bangladesh) Team Chaos (India), LOUD (Brazil), First Raiders (Indonesia), God’s Plan (Latin America), Attack All around (Thailand), New Gank (Singapore), HQ Esports (Vietnam), Singularity Invincible (CIS) and Vaixourar (Europe).

The teams that have been qualified for the Free Fire World Series 2021 finals are Galaxy Racer (India), FLUXO (Brazil), Geek Fam (Malaysia/ Philippines), Evos Esports ID ( Indonesia), Team Aze (Latin America), Evos Esports TH (Thailand), LGDS (Taiwan), Burst the Sky (Vietnam), Silence (CIS) and VIP Esports (MENA).

Team Chaos that will be competing in the play-ins was the runner-up of the Free Fire India Championship 2021. This world series will replace the previously hosted Continental series which took place virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic. Almost all the international tournaments of Free Fire took place online in 2020.
