Gangadhar Raaj gets the largest bag on Day 1D of BPT ME

The INR 50k BPT Main Event kicked off a couple of days back at the Casino Pride 2 poker room in Goa after the first starting flight took place few days ago online on PokerBaazi. Day 1B took place day before yesterday and Gagandeep Malik emerged as chip leader. Yesterday, we had two more flights and Day 1C saw Neel Joshi picking up the largest stack.

The fourth and final turbo flight Day 1D took off at 9pm and the flight attracted 120 entries to take the total field of the BPT Main Event to 567 entries. This generated a prize pool of INR 2.66 Crore and it will be shared among the top 63 players with the min-cash set at INR 1.01 Lakh.

The turbo flight consisted of 14 levels of 20 minutes each and by the end of the night, it was Gangadhar Raaj who emerged chip leader with a stack of 254,500 chips. The 35-year old is a software professional who was part of the team that developed a software for international giant, partypoker.

Adda52 Team Pro Kunal Patni (228,500) and Rajesh Singh (206,000) are behind Raaj to round up the top three stacks of the night. Pranav Bang (172,000), Ankit Jajodia (166,000), PokerStars Team Pro Muskan Sethi (139,500), Akshay Nasa (120,500), Wilson Yomso (104,000), Vinay B (86,500), Kanishk Upreti (79,000) and others move on from this flight. 30 players survived which takes the total survivor count to 94 players going to Day 2.
