FTS 2.0 Round-Up: Sanat Mehrotra And Anamika Singh Turn Winners On Day 2

FTS #4 – 5 Lakh GTD

This INR 880 tournament has 797 entries in total. Though this was a comparatively low budget tournament for that day, the top 71 places were paid a min-cash of INR 2,422. Anamika Singh aka ‘Coco53’ bagged the top position for a payday of INR 89,661. The three players on the final round on Level #47 were Singh, ‘Naveenbarkhageetu’ and ‘Madeleine.’ The three players went on a three way deal as Singh and ‘Madeleine’ had the same cards. Singh who had a better chip lead as compared to the other two players shipped the tournament.

FTS #6 – 10 Lakh GTD

This 10 Lakh GTD tournament had a buy-in of INR 1,650. The top 71 players on the tournament were paid a min-cash of INR 4,178. Poker pro Sanat Mehrotra shipped the tournament and took home NR 2,12,203 in prize money. On level #51 of this INR 10 lakh GTD tournament, Mehrotra had a mammoth chip stack as compared to ‘Dr House.’ Mehrotra and ‘Dr House’ were dealt A♠ 2♣ and J♥ T♥ respectively. On the preflop, ‘Dr House’ raised and went all-in while Mehrotra uncalled the bet. The board was revealed as 5♦ 5♥ T♠ 3♠ J♣. Mehrotra shipped the tournament with two pairs while ‘Dr House’ had only a pair.
