It was a marvelous Friday night that saw tons of tournaments on offer! Adda52 Online Poker Series (AOPS) made a comeback offering INR 6 Crore GTD from 6th to 13th March. On the other hand, PokerBaazi Premier League (PPL) also experienced a surge of players. And that’s not it! The Millionaire Lite is also underway on Spartan Poker, a part of the ongoing SVS series. The March edition’s Millionaire Lite is a part of Spartan Value Series (SVS) that is currently underway on Spartan Poker. Promising INR 35 Lakhs and yesterday kicked off Day 1A pulling out a total of 548 entries after each paid INR 1,650. Topping the list was online grinder Rahul Kumar aka ‘sttoned’ amassing the largest stack of 268,424 followed by Dhinrendra Kumar aka ‘dhiru91’ with 186,306 chips, leading the remaining survivors to Day 2. Day 1B of the Millionaire Lite is scheduled to commence today, 7 March at 6 pm.
Spartan Poker’s popular Friday tourney TGIF INR 10 Lakhs GTD attracted a total of 603 runners for a buy-in of INR 1,650. The top 55 finishers earned a payout, a slice from the final prize pool. After a few intense hours of grinding it was ‘takemymoney’ who outlasted Danny Enfielder aka ‘LazyBrahmin’ in heads-up.
Just as the name suggests, Spartan Poker’s The Elite assured INR 30 Lakhs GTD attracting the high-stakes players for a fixed buy-in of INR 11,000. A total of 295 runners entered the field out of which only the top 31 finishers ended up earning. Coming out on top was a well-known circuit grinder Sagar Choudhury aka ‘strangeplay’ who defeated ‘lol this guy’ in heads-up to add another title to his crowded poker cap.
PokerBaazi hosted PPL Event #46 INR 10 Lakhs GTD at 7 pm last night. The entire tournament registered a total of 308 entrants who paid INR 3,300 individually. Powering through the field was well-known circuit grinder Shagun Jain aka ‘sogani22’ who eliminated Raghav Bansal aka ‘thatssosick’ in heads-up for INR 2.20 Lakhs in prize money while Bansal settled in the runner-up position for INR 1.55 Lakhs.
INR 25 Lakhs was assured in yesterday’s AOPS on Adda52 that kicked off at 8 pm sharp. The tournament registered a total of 423 entries out of which only 43 earned a min-cash. It was online grinder Vinayak Bajaj aka ‘bhai_on_mary_jane’ who triumphed the competition beating ‘abhishin’ in heads-up to bag a hefty INR 6.18 Lakhs in prize money.
At 9:30 pm last night AOPS PLO INR 5 Lakhs GTD kicked off on Adda52 pulling out a total of 220 entries for INR 3,300. This number was enough to crush the advertised guarantee and create INR 6.60 Lakhs in prize pool. Riding past the field was Rahul Mech aka ‘lucky_bastered’ who defeated ‘vipervenom’ in heads-up for INR 1.81 Lakhs in prize money while his opponent seized the second place payout of INR 1.05 Lakhs.
PokerStars Friday tourney Uppercut INR 10 Lakhs GTD registered 211 entrants for INR 4,400. Outlasting the field was ‘Heisenberg6291’ who defeated Harsh Dembla aka ‘kakori kabab’ in heads-up pocketing INR 94,673 in prize money.
