Spartan Poker’s The Elite tournament was the biggest event of last night. This tournament was shipped by Armaan Kochhar. Online reg Rohan Bhasin aka ‘The Sightseer’ shipped Spartan Poker’s marquee tournament, Futuristic. Bhasin traversed to the top among 1,170 players and cashed ₹1,79,455 in prize money. The buy-in of this multi-entry tournament was ₹880. The tourney’s in-cash stood at ₹2,375. The top 111 players finished in the money. The runner-up was Aviral Jain aka ‘neverfoldlaundry’ who took home ₹1,09,345 in prize money.
The tournament saw several pro players like Final Table Series (FTS) 2.0 Big Game winner Arjun Pasricha who fired two bullets (5th, ₹46,360), Manish Lakhotia (7th, ₹25,175), Ankit Wadhawan (12th, ₹9,880), Vinayak Bajaj (17th, ₹7,980), IOPC July 2021 commentator Kanchan Sharam (18th, ₹7,030), Siddharth Gangwar (111th, ₹2,375) among others.
Grinders who could not make it in the money were Naresh Veeravalli (116th), Ashish Ahuja fired three bullets (131st), Arun Sriram (132nd), Nitin Arora (135th), Gutshot Player Of The Month, July 2021 Anirban Das (144th), Manish Lakhotia fired two bullets (150th) among others.
The Elite event on Spartan Poker was shipped by Armaan Kochhar aka ‘space ace’ who cashed ₹6,16,140 in prize money. The ₹11,000 buy-in tournament had 333 entries in total and the min-cash stood at ₹29,304. Top 31 places were paid at this tourney. The runner-up of this event was an anonymous player who goes by the moniker of ‘Tarunpatro.’ This player took a pay cheque of ₹5,62,346. The advertised guarantee of this event was crushed and a new prize pool of ₹33,30,000 was formed.
Several grinders made it in the money including Rohan Bhasin (3rd, ₹3,34,332), poker pro Guarav Sood (4th, ₹2,71,062), Mohit Mehta (6th, ₹1,62,837), Vinayak Bajaj (7th, ₹1,18,881), Naresh Veeravalli (9th, ₹71,928), Abhijeet Kumar (11th, ₹60,939), IOPC January 2021 Main Event winner Laksh Pal Singh (12th, ₹54,279), M Balakrishnan fired two bullets (15th, ₹49,284), poker pro Dhaval Mudgal (19th, ₹39,294), Yudhishter Jaswal fired two bullets (21st, ₹35,964), Adda52 Game Ambassador Kunal Patni (26th, ₹32,634) among others.
IOPC reg Arjanveer Singh Chadha ‘holdbaby’ worked his magic on the online felts of PokerBaazi and shipped the Weekly Highroller tournament. Chadha cashed ₹4,17,000 in prize money and traversed to the top among 162 players. Top 18 players made it in the money and the min-cash paid was ₹21,220. The advertised guarantee of this ₹11,000 buy-in highroller was crushed and the final prize pool stood at ₹16.2 Lakh.
Players who made it in the money in this Highroller were Chirag Sodha (6th, ₹83,430), Vikash Mantri (9th, ₹41,630), Dhaval Mudgal (11th, ₹30,290), Manish Lakhotia (13th, ₹24,950), Arun Sriram (18th, ₹21,220) among others.
Grinders who could not make it in the money were Naresh Veeravalli (24th), WSOP bracelet winner Kartik Ved who fired two bullets (30th), Vishnu Khandelwal fired three bullets (32nd), Gokul Raj (34th), Sanat Mehrotra (38th), WSOP bracelet winner Abhinav Iyer fired three bullets (40th), Anmol Mehta fired two bullets (51st), Myron Pereira (56th) among others.

This bounty tournament on PokerStars was a deal between anonymous player ‘s291405’ and Faiz Alam aka ‘LFGgggg.’ The anonymous player took home ₹1,13,774 in prize money and cashed ₹1,02,312 in bounty money. This ₹4,400 buy-in tournament had 178 entries in total. In this Uppercut tournament, a min-cash of ₹9,457 was paid. Top 19 places received money for their efforts.
