The tournaments on Spartan Poker, PokerBaazi, and Adda52 had several online regs competing against each other to grab the top spot. Spartan Poker’s Covid-19 relief Futuristic tournament also took place yesterday. Let’s do a quick recap of all the action that went down on these online poker platforms.
The COVID-19 relief Futuristic tournament was conducted by Spartan Poker yesterday. The platform had announced that the rake collected from this tournament will be donated to Mission Zindagi COVID-19 relief seva. Spartan Poker collaborated with The Art of Living, The International Association for Human Values (IAHV) and Indian film and television community.
This tournament had 826 entries in total and the top 119 players were paid a min-cash of ₹2,700. This ₹1,000 buy-in event was shipped by Sanish Chhabra aka ‘Sanish21’ who happily took home ₹2,26,080 in prize money. Chhabra was followed by Kanishka Samant aka ‘Wildflower’ who cashed ₹1,37,520.
On quizzing Chhabra about his victory and the feeling of contributing to such a noble cause, he said, “It was a pleasure to be a part of it.”
