Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT Xpress) July 2024 Winners

The Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT Xpress) returns to Goa this year and will take place at the Deltin Royale. The six-day poker extravaganza will commence on 24th July and continue until 29th July 2024.

Like every edition earlier, DPT Xpress is all set to spring up several winners and cashes throughout the tournament series. Going by the schedule, poker fans are in for a treat and will get to experience some of the most popular Indian poker players looking to go all-in and more. The excitement about the tournament series has already started, with the online satellites going on since 4th July and ending on 24th July, on Adda52.com.

DPT Xpress is among the first Indian live poker tournament series and has cropped up some unique Indian players since the outset. From Bhola Singh, who played only two tournaments to Anant Purohit, who has played in WSOP Online, Xpress invokes a curiosity in a diverse range of poker players. The series started in 2018 and has been a learning experience for the poker community, and has evolved with the times. 

It had its humble beginnings in Gangtok in Sikkim and then embraced the warmth of Goa in 2019. It was one of the many live events that bore the brunt of the Covid-related lockdowns, but the tournament seems to be truly back this year. Tournaments like Xpress are also making Goa not just India’s tourist capital, but also a prominent poker-related destination.  With the venue being an actual casino, Indian poker players can rest assured of a memorable experience of being at a live felt – and that too within the boundaries of their country.

What’s new in this edition of DPT Xpress?

The organizers have decided to go with a longer schedule this time around, with a total of 10 events lined up. This includes the much-awaited DPT Xpress Main Event which has a buy-in of ₹30,000, while other tournaments to look out for include the fun format of the Mystery Bounty, as well as the ₹7.5 Lakh freeroll (terms and conditions apply) on the final day of the series!

In the current edition, DPT Xpress 2024 has multiple formats, ensuring that there’s something for every poker fan and player who decides to follow the on-goings. So, along with a Texas Hold’em, there’s a ₹11,500 buy-in DPT Xpress PLO Event.  All this makes the event all the more competitive and allows more poker players to use their skill and expertise to win a trophy – or maybe two, depending on their skills.
