DPT May 2024: Ujjwal Vishnani Ships Super Hold’em 

Ujjwal Vishnani has emerged victorious in the Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) 15K Super Hold’em tournament, claiming his first-ever DPT title and a top prize of ₹1,81,093. Overcoming a field of 28 entries, Vishnani showcased exceptional skill throughout the event, outlasting several notable players on the final table, including Armaan Kochhar and Chirag Sodha.

In an intense heads-up battle, Vishnani faced off against the well-known poker pro Chirag Sodha. In the final hand, Sodha, from the button, shoved all-in for 75,000, and Vishnani, from the big blind position, made the call, tabling K♣ J♣ Q♥ against Sodha’s K♦ 10♣ 8♥.

The community cards fell A♥ 6♦ 9♣ 3♦ 4♥, giving Vishnani the winning hand and the Super Hold’em title. Sodha, the runner-up, earned ₹1,03,643 for his impressive performance.

The 15K DPT Super Hold’em event kicked off on 26th May at 3 PM with 20-minute levels, ensuring players are on their toes. Players began with a 20,000 chip stack, creating a dynamic and action-packed competition. Late registration remained open until the start of Level 8, providing ample opportunity for everyone to join the Super Hold’em action.

In the previous edition of the Super Hold’em event, Abhishek Grover emerged victorious, taking home ₹2.09 Lakh after a stellar performance. Congratulations to Vishnani on his well-deserved victory and the addition of a DPT title to his impressive poker resume.

Coming to the other winners of the DPT May 2024, we have players Karan Vohra, Harsh Bubna, Ritik Khanna, Harshdev Jhirmiria, Arshia Mehta, Jaydeep Selvaraju, Shaurya Kohli, Shravan Singh and Naveen Kumar.  

Now all eyes are on the Main Event. The coveted tournament was paused after the final table was set. The final has names like Vaibhav Shah, Goonjan Mall and Srikanth Narayan.
