DPT May 2024: Shravan Singh Nails Flip & Ship 

The Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) unfolded like a poker festival at the Deltin Royale in Goa. The much awaited series has crowned more winners as the event looks to wrap up tonight. Talking about DPT’s newly crowned winners, we have Shravan Singh emerging victorious in the DPT May 2024 Flip & Ship tournament, claiming the title and a top prize of ₹2,00,573. The title holder beat Rakesh Kulkarni in heads-up to grab the trophy.

In the final hand, Kulkarni (K♦ J♣) goes all-in preflop from the big blind position with 8,400, while Singh (J♥ 9♦) makes the call from the small blind. The board presented 4♥, 3♥, 5♠, 9♠, 3♦. Singh took down the event with two pairs (99,33). Kulkarni finishes as the runner-up for a payday of ₹1,01,803.  Other notable players in the field included names like Deepak Singh, Vishal Ojha, Vineet Kumar, and Steeve Gupta.

The Flip & Ship event kicked off on 26th May at 8 PM. With a buy-in of ₹11,000, this single-day tournament featured two rounds, with Round 1 starting at 2 PM and Round 2 at 8 PM. Players who advance from Round 1 will compete for the title in the second round, beginning with a stack of 10,000 chips.

Late registration for this thrilling event was open until 7:45 PM. In the previous edition held in October 2023, Dishant Soni emerged victorious, claiming the title and a prize of ₹1,11,200 after delivering an impressive performance.
