DPT May 2024: Jaydeep Selvaraju Nails PLO Turbo Bounty 

The  Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) PLO Turbo Bounty tournament has concluded with an exciting victory for Jaydeep Selvaraju. After a thrilling heads-up battle against Amrit Kalash, Selvaraju emerged triumphant, securing the coveted title and a prize of ₹3,30,530.

Selvaraju’s impressive performance saw him overcome a competitive field of 143 entries to claim his first DPT title and the substantial prize money. Kalash, who put up a tough fight, finished as the runner-up, earning a commendable ₹2,44,640.

In the final hand of the tournament, Jaydeep’s 6 ♠7 ❤ 7 ♣ 9 ♣ proved too strong for Amrit’s A ❤ 6♣ 5♣ 8 ♦ . The board revealed 9♠ 2 ❤ 4♣ K ♦ K♣, sealing Jaydeep’s victory and crowning him the champion.

Earlier in the tournament, Mohit Bothra finished in third place, earning ₹1,81,070. In the hand that led to his elimination, Bothra moved all-in from the big blind with 6♣ 7♥ 4♣ 6♥ against Selvaraju’s A♦ A♠ Q♣ 4♠ on a board of 4♥ 4♦ K♠ 10♦ Q♠. Selvaraju’s aces proved superior, busting Bothra in third place.

Selvaraju’s triumph is a testament to his skill and adaptability in the fast-paced format of PLO Turbo Bounty. His victory not only earns him a significant payday but also solidifies his reputation as a formidable player in the Indian poker circuit.

DPT PLO Turbo Bounty

The DPT May 2024 PLO Turbo Bounty, kicked off at 5 PM on 25th May. With 20-minute levels, this tournament promises rapid gameplay that will test the skills of even the most seasoned Pot-Limit Omaha players.

Participants began the tourney with a stack of 20,000 chips. Late registration remained open until the start of Level 8, giving everyone a chance to join the fray and hunt for bounties, adding to the thrill of the event.

The ₹22,000 buy-in attracted a player pool of 143 entries, generating a total prize pool of ₹28,60,000. Out of this sum, ₹14,30,000 will be allocated to the bounty prize pool, providing players with the opportunity to earn additional rewards for eliminating their rivals.

The PLO Turbo Bounty paid the top 17 places with the min-cash settling at ₹27,805. In the previous edition of DPT, the PLO Bounty was shipped by Anirudh ₹1.92 Lakh.
